Bad news for all Marvel fans! President Obama has scheduled his State of the Union Address a little earlier than usual this year, on January 12. Traditionally, it has been placed in the last week of January. This has caused ABC to postpone the premiere of Agent Carter Season 2 by two weeks. Presumably to not interrupt the flow of episodes to early in its run. The two-hour season opener will now air on January 19. Originally, the plan was for Agent Carter Season 2 to premiere on January 5.
Furthermore, it is now speculated that ABC will also have to push the second half of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3 to accommodate the postponing of Agent Carter. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Is slated to return March 8 after its mid-season hiatus.
