These photos are almost as boring as the show. Actually, that one pic is quite intere-zzzzzzzzzz. Sorry, fell asleep for a minute.

This tv show already needs a reboot.

It seems to me that this episode may give us a better look at how SHIELD truly operates and allows us to see their inner workings outside of the "bus"

Agents of Shield, Arrow, and The Walking Dead are the best shows on tv right now. Instead of hating on these shows everyone should be happy that they even have shows on tv based off comicbooks.

i think i would agree a little with @auntie_venom, don't get me wrong iv'e really enjoyed the graviton episode and the fury cameo but other than that this programme is starting to get tedious. the lack of good action and any sort of heroes what so ever just isnt working, i think this show does need to take something from the likes of arrow in the way of cameos after all thats the main thing that kept people watching arrow for the first season, a programme which has now become infinitely better.

Mad people are so critical of this show. It's almost like they were expecting the cast of the Avengers to be in this.

im not saying that its not good to have these shows but its like saying be thankful for a batman show just staring bruce wayne with no batman its boring.

why arent the cast of avengers in it if chris evans and chris hemsworth really wanted there big pay rises they could have the decency to do a few cameo scenes and its not like you have to pay robert downey junior or mark ruffalo for there cameos all they have to do is to use the suit or cgi

Argh I just finished the latest episode of AOS on my DVR. What such a great character in Scorch and he is gone, dead, wiped out!!!!!! Come on he would have been awesome to use down the road.

So here is the current baddies count!

Episode 1 Black Guy
Episode 2 Latina
Episode 3 Old White Guy
Episode 4 Black Girl
Episode 5 Chinese

Wow way to go Marvel/Disney nice to see you mixing the pot there on diversity! Oh wait you do have an Asian Agent!

@ acecomics

No us fans on this site knew there would not be any actual cast from the Avengers etc..... on the show. But average viewers were thinking they were going to get that with all the promos showing Avengers and other Marvel movies snippets. So yeah people feel jaded and that is why I guarantee the ratings will continue to drop etc....

As for the fans on this site for instance, we were hoping for actual B or C level characters introduced in the show. So far the closest thing we have is hand reaching out that we all can assume is the origins of Gravitron.

@joemamma actually, they are mixing the pot. every "villian" from each episode varies ethnically/gender. other than african-american, no race has been shown twice, and even then they at least switched the gender.

@JoeMomma Speak for yourself and the others who troll every AOS thread and post the same cut and paste boring lines every week, whether you've watched the episode or not.

Here's a thought: All of you people who don't like the show, don't watch it and shut the [frick] up about it. If you don't like the show you don't need to spout your bullshit on every article about it. Let those of us who enjoy it enjoy it.

(Also before anyone says any shit, I watch Arrow too and I like it as well)

@ PeterDarker

I am speaking for myself, those are my thoughts and opinions. Remember all people have opinions like buttholes and they all stink.

I have watched every episode and honestly it is just flat line for me. I will continue to watch every single episode this season as a comicbook fan. Though I may be over critical of this show and come off as a troll than I am sorry. But the same goes for fanboys who try to pawn this off as such a great show and win for everyone.

Sad that a soap opera/basement CW show is killing this show. Yeah Yeah AOS has twice if not three times the viewers but that is because it is on ABC a major network.
PeterDarker121
PeterDarker121 - 11/3/2013, 3:52 PM
@Joe Momma And if you're going to be so desperate to troll that you pathetically pull the race card, then get it right. Chloe Bennett is bi-racial as her father is Chinese. Akela (Pascale Armand, the one you call the black "girl")is far from a child.

PeterDarker121
PeterDarker121 - 11/3/2013, 4:02 PM
@Joe Momma No, you don't "come off" as a troll, you ARE one on every AOS article. Why would you pop in threads and ask everyone if the episode was good or not when you haven't even watched it? Do you need people to make your opinions for you? Then you spend hours on AOS threads posting unrelated garbage for pages on end.

You prove you're a troll by even referring to 'Arrow' (as you usually do). It has absolutely nothing to do with this conversation.

I just watched the last two episodes today off of my DVR! So yes when I asked if the episode was good I am really asking that. And even when people said no I still watched them!!!!!!! Hmmmmm there is some food for thought.

And yes I brought of Arrow because it is a good show, heck next time I will just use The Walking Dead since that seems to be liked by everyone.

JoeMomma29
JoeMomma29 - 11/3/2013, 4:18 PM
On last thought then I will shut up.

The show has so much potential to be so awesome. I do see them setting something up but they are doing it at a snails pace which people are losing interests. Also I think Marvel is holding back actually introducing heroes and villains because of the future of their movies. I will continue to watch as a fan and I hope it gets better soon, though I will stick with it through the entire season!
Durf
Durf - 11/3/2013, 4:23 PM
@Kyos: lol, yeah I doubt anyone is going to listen. But it helps to get that off my chest
PeterDarker121
PeterDarker121 - 11/3/2013, 4:45 PM
@Durf No, people are listening, and your comment was spot on. When you have people who try and infer that Marvel is trying to paint minorities in a bad light by cutting and pasting the "AOS Villian List", you're dealing with straight up trolls.

Sorry you feel that way, but is that not the truth or am I making it up on the villains? Sorry if you think I am trolling, I am more of a disappointed fan who expected more from Marvel/Disney on this show.

And Sorry I do not cut and paste my remarks either I can type pretty fast!
OrionPax
OrionPax - 11/3/2013, 7:16 PM
I'm still not sure why people are hating on this show. Its been what 5 episodes? What exactly do you expect in the first 5 EPISODES?????Its a Whedon show! There will be interwoven storylines and it will deliver. We've already gotten Graviton! And I'm a staunch DC fan but think Smallville and Arrow are WAY to sappy (love stories and whatnot). At least AOS is exactly what it should be,a spy thriller/drama,instead of taking an awesome, left wing opinionated and grounded hero like Ollie and making him whatever he is on Arrow. And seriously? That detective is one the WORST actors I've ever seen......seriously.
PeterDarker121
PeterDarker121 - 11/3/2013, 7:36 PM
@Joe Momma No, it isn't the truth. If it is, then explain why the MCU chose to make Asgardian characters multicultural instead of all Caucasian like they'd always been in the comics to use but one example.

You're claiming that one of the things wrong with the show is that they're making a consious effort to portray minorities in a bad light on the television show and the "good guys" are purposely not diverse enough.

Unless you can back up that claim, you're dishonestly playing the race card in a pathetic attempt to denegrate the show and that makes you a troll in my book, regardless of your garden-variety "sorry if you feel that way" excuses.

JoeMomma29
JoeMomma29 - 11/3/2013, 8:03 PM
@ PeterDarker

Well clearly four out of five episodes minorities are portrayed in a bad light.

Episode 1 A black male no job no money down on is luck gets some power and turns against his white boss. Oh yeah of course the white head agent swoops in to save the day.

Episode 2 A Strong willed Hispanic woman who is now craving power after feeling that she and her people are be oppressed.

Episode 3 A rich white man villain in a place of power and full control, of course he is not stopped and escapes his demise.

Episode 4 A smart black woman who does not play nice or trust anyone. She is clearly a diamond thief but is being controlled. Again saved the white man and even though she is clearly innocent she is put in jail to await trial.

Episode 5 A Asian man who is given a chance to enhance his talents and of course we know how that ends.

Sorry then let us look at the main cast again yup one full minority and thank you for correcting me on the other actor who is half Asian.
