You read that right, Agent Coulson himself, Clark Gregg will be live tonight on the internet radio show Geek Blast and on Comic Book Movie from 8-9:30pm EST

By GEEKBLAST - May 02, 2014 04:05 PM EST

Sorry guys, the show is over.

Tonight on Geek Blast we have very special guest, Clark Gregg!

He will be calling in around 8:10 EST to chat with the guys for about 20 minutes...maybe longer if we're all lucky. If you're listening on Comic Book Movie you will have a chance to call in and speak with him.

We strongly admonish anyone that does call in to please be respectful to Mr. Gregg.

The number to call in is 201-580-3712

If Mr.Gregg doesn't stick around for the duration of the show, any listeners also might have a chance to win a Star Wars t-shirt provided by the show’s sponsor, the JEDI KNIGHT ACADEMY, by trying to guess the movie quote when the guys play it and calling in. Further, you might also have a chance to win a Star Wars voice changer provided by friend of the show, Dr. Essex.

Not trying to troll, but this show deserves to be cancelled, Arrow whilst ranging from 'ok' to 'great' is miles better than this, all this does is bring down the whole MCU... If only Agents of SHIELD was more like the SHIELD strike teams from The Winter Soldier...

It's been and gone already? How did it go?

@MrDonut I will assume that you are up to date on the episodes, and proceed to challenge your logic on why the show should be cancelled.

The show has had a multitude of problems, but the general consensus seems to be that it has come into its own since September. Why deny those who are enjoying it the privilege of doing just that? SHIELD is dead (at least until Age of Ultron), The Netflix shows are right around the corner, and there is still Guardians of the Galaxy and at least one more One-Shot to bolster the MCU this year. At this point, the long-term damage that AoS could do to the MCU is negligible.

@savag3410 No kidding? How did you make time to take Marketing 101 amid all of your trolling?

So, getting to the party late.

Did anyone of any consequence ask Clark Gregg anything of consequence?

And TheDonut and savag3410, how about taking a box cutter to your inner wrists in a tub of hot water, or, failing that, just stay the hell off the AoS threads?

Aside from that:

REALLY cool that cbm.com got in on this interview. Glad for Jim and Nate, getting recognition for the BEST website in the comic book movie world.

Oh wow. That comment is funny. I can't even joke about having a "bad-ass over here" because that comment SCREAMED desperation. Consider us all duly impressed with how "tough" you are.

What is Worldstar?

And savage, I will NOT tolerate the use of that word towards me, or ANYONE else on this website, and I have reported your racist words to the owners of this website. I've had enough of the slinging around of racist crap from shit-throwers like yourself.

@Dethpillow:

Excellent comparison! I remember there always being that kind of behavior from when I was a kid. It usually stemmed from someone being so insecure about themselves that they create an identity around something (a band, TV show, etc.) which they identify as being "better" than what other people like. They then try to use the "superiority" of their preference over everyone else to feel better or try to make everyone else feel bad about something they enjoy.

In some cases, these kind of people don't even really like or enjoy the thing they claim to be superior. It's sometimes a case of having seen or heard someone they look up to (older brother, parent, cool kid at school, etc.) give a similar opinion so they latch on to it to the extreme. Kind of like peer pressure.

Fortunately this is a behavior that (normally) disappears after the teenage years. It's kind of like when small kids fight about "my ___ is better than your ___!" only with the added bonus that they try to rationalize their arguments (like in your example using the fact that the Beatles were better musicians), but it still boils down to the same childish need to validate their preferences as better than everyone else instead of enjoying whatever they (claim to) like.
