EDITORIAL: What's To Come From AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

While this is %100 speculation, I believe I may have unraveled a major moment in an upcoming episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Hit the jump and let me know what you think!

(there's not much I take seriously)

I've been wrong before.

Oh hell yes, I have. Haven't we all? Sometimes it even takes courage to admit to ourselves that we [frick]ed up. Well, I have news folks: It ain't that serious. You guessed it, I'm just rambling right now. But just take a moment to think it through.. If I'm wrong.. It's okay. It doesn't matter, bro.

The Whedon's love their parallels, especially those of an ironic nature. For example, look at The Avengers: Cap tells Tony "You're not the guy to make the sacrifice play." But then at the end of the movie, that's exactly what he does.

"You know that's a one-way trip, Stark..." <-------"I love that someone finally made this. Tony surprises all of them at the end by actually doing this. When all the chips are down, when there's no other option, he is the one to make the sacrifice play. He doesn't lay down on the wire? He cut it so no one else would follow."

In the same way, I foresee a similar twist arising on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. In episode 2x06, Coulson tells Ward "You are not, nor will you ever be, on my team." Well, as we can see from the description of episode 2x18, "The Frenemy of My Enemy," Ward eventually does team up with him again, along with what's looking like Lance Hunter and Deathlok (oh thank God he's back).

Now I don't trust that one bit; I'm betting Coulson has some plan up his sleeve to take down Ward once he's no longer useful. It just sounds too good to be true. But there's another side to this parallel we're looking at. In 2x06, we see Simmons tell Ward "If I ever see you again, I'll kill you." After his betrayal in season one, it's completely logical for her to feel this way. But Simmons isn't heading Coulson's way--Fitz is. Fitz, who had a mental breakdown last he saw Grant Ward. Ironically--will it be Fitz that ends up killing Ward? God I bloody hope not, but we'll see. Yes, this article was built around a hunch. xoxo

Stay thirsty, my friends.

Unless the next few episodes are all about Ward, I don't see them killing him off.
There are just too many other loose ends to give Ward a proper redemptive arc in what remains of the season. At best he'll stay as a shady ally.

Ward will survive, he's like a cockroach. Reckon Cal will die saving daisy and and jieyang, Gordon said he's sealed his and daisys fate but I reckon mom will go against it to save quake. Reckon it'll be civil war amongst the inhumans as well all because of daisy and raina becoming inhumans.

I just want one episode next season at least titled Secret Warriors. With Quake, Deathlok, May, Mockingbird and Hunter. Plus maybe a special guest or two. Give May and Hunter code names just for this mission. Would be fun. And are they ever gonna call Bobbi Mockingbird? It was pretty clear Natasha had the code name Black Widow when she was a SHIELD agent.

Ward dies, I riot.

Seriously, he's one of the few remaining decent members of the show. Do not kill him off for the love of God, let him rejoin the team or do his own thing.

I'm hoping Ward gets a power up somehow. Maybe getting taskmaster type skills. I dunno something like that or centipede tech or the Asgardian staff where ever that thing ended up, can't remember. But maybe this spinoff will be ward centric. Him lurking in the shadows of shield doing a lil good, a lil bad, or a lil bit of both ;)
