DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Star Vincent D'Onofrio Says A Battle With Spider-Man Is His MCU Endgame

Daredevil: Born Again is arguably the most highly anticipated Marvel Studios project coming to Disney+, and we expect the Man Without Fear's feud with The Kingpin to be a huge part of the eighteen-episode TV series. However, it might not be where their battle ends.

Recently, there have been rumblings about Spider-Man 4 being a street-level adventure that will see the wall-crawler team up with 'ol Hornhead to take Wilson Fisk down once and for all.

It's a story that would make sense, particularly as The Kingpin was originally introduced as a Spider-Man villain. Over the weekend, Vincent D'Onofrio made an appearance Salt Lake FanX 2022 in Utah, and told those in attendance that his MCU endgame is for his villain to go toe to toe with the MCU's Amazing Spider-Man.

"I mean, there’s only one really end goal...and I think somebody just said who that would be," the actor responded when asked which MCU character he'd most like Kingpin to cross paths with (moments after someone in the crowd shouted "Spider-Man").

As for whether he has a preference between Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire's Spider-Men, D'Onofrio responded, "Well, I know a lot of these answers that I give you are not the answers that you want, but I want to fight all of them. It doesn’t even have to be at the same time. I just want them all. Let’s know the truth. I want them all."

Make it happen, Marvel Studios.

Realistically, we anticipate it being Tom's Spidey who The Kingpin faces, and it will be interesting to see what happens when the two characters cross paths. If Daredevil's battle with Fisk is set to conclude in Spider-Man 4, it will be a ballsy move on the studio's part and essential that they ensure Born Again is satisfying in its own right rather than a "To be concluded..." story.
