On July 18 the 2015 Emmy Nominations were announced, and the critically acclaimed Netflix series Daredevil was nominated in the category of “Outstanding Visual Effects in a Supporting Role”. An original series based on the Marvel Comic by the same name. Daredevil is the first in a series of marvel properties to feature on the internet streaming media provider. Praised for its gritty look and exciting action sequences it should come as no surprise that the Emmy’s have recognized the team behind the visual effects, Shade VFX . On their website Shade VFX posted the following statement.
“We are extremely proud and very excited to be nominated in the Outstanding Visual Effects In A Supporting Role category at the upcoming Emmy Awards for our work on Daredevil! “
Shade have also posted a four and a half minute clip of the epic fight scene between Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and Peter Shinkoda’s ninja assassin Nobu. The first three and a half minutes shows the fight scene as it appeared in the show, and the last minute and a half gives you a quick breakdown of the work the done by Shade.

Daredevil Season 2 is currently in production, and slated for a 2016 release.
