DAREDEVIL Filming Details Reveal New Information On The Suit, Ninjas, Fight Scenes And More
Marvel and Netflix's Daredevil has been shooting in Williamsburg and Greenpoint recently, and thanks to information from locals and film permits, we have new details on The Man Without Fear's suit as well as battles with ninjas and the recreation of a familiar comic book location...
It sounds like Daredevil might just end up wearing that black costume from Frank Miller and John Romita Jr.'s Man Without Fear for the majority of the first season of his Netflix series based on new filming details. According to DNAinfo, popular dive bar Turkey's Nest Tavern was recently transformed into "Josie's Hell's Kitchen" and is a location from the comic books where ol' Hornhead visits when trying to get information out of the criminal underworld. Fight scenes have also been shot, with one featuring "Daredevil in black uniformed costume beats up guys to get information" and another with him in the same outfit beating up a "Junkie drug abuser". Filming notices also reveal that a scene where a biker pushes Daredevil into eight motorcycles was shot. Specific locations for each of these can be found by clicking the link below. On October 25th, filming took place in a warehouse with the hero battling "a ninja with a kyoketsu-shoge knife on a chain."
