One of the most exciting aspects of Daredevil's first season was watching Matt Murdock go from wearing that homemade black costume to his classic red suit from the comics, and it now sounds as if we should expect to see a similar journey for Elektra's duds in season two. Talking at the Television Critics Assocation press tour today, co-showrunner Doug Petrie teased: "We love the comics - we're fans - but, we wanted Elektra's costume to be reasonable for a martial artist and she's also a little bit of a stylist. There's definitely a costume, but it needs to happen organically like we saw on Daredevil." So, does that mean we're getting a more realistic take on her classic outfit or an evolution as she embraces a more heroic path by the end of the season? I'd place by bet on the former, but this is still good news. Elodie Yung meanwhile also dropped some interesting hints about her take on the character. "We think Elektra is kind of a sociopath. This world is a game for her, like a chess game. What motivates her is what she wants. She'll use anything … to get to her goal. On the other hand, we wanted to create a character with different layers. I think Elektra is not a bad person. She's not a good person. She's a person with different traits."
