"I just brought in this kind of character who in one sentence could easily go from being a child to a monster, depending on where his emotions take him," D'Onofrio tells USA Today when describing his take on the Marvel villain. "I wanted him to have an appearance of being super-powerful so that when he throws a punch, it's a major punch. There's a lot of weight behind it."

Marvel’s Daredevil” is a live action series that follows the journey of attorney Matt Murdock, who in a tragic accident was blinded as a boy but imbued with extraordinary senses. Murdock sets up practice in his old neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen, New York where he now fights against injustice as a respected lawyer by day and masked vigilante at night.

There's more at the link below. Daredevil premières on Netflix on April 10. What do you think of D'Onofrio's Kingpin look?

This guy is good in any role he is in. Remember when he was a serial killer in the movie The Cell? I mean not a great movie but he was awesomely creepy in that movie.

in his prime, with the right hair, he would've made the PERFECT DC's Captain Marvel. he's got the exact look from the 40s comics.

i also wonder why marvel doesn't make him look WAY BIGGER...i mean with today's body/fat suits...i think that can be easily accomplished.

I agree with Ezio...Fat suit would be ridiculous. He'd look like the Nutty Professor.

Vincent's acting will make Kingpin larger than life. A true MOFO who can't be [frick]ed with.

Don't forget how uncomfortable and restrictive it is for the actor letting D'noforio be comfortable and in his zone will make kingpin seem like the hulking mobster as you said.

This performance is going to be ten times greater than the previous incarnation of Kingpin. Can't hardly believe this is barely over a month away and Age of Ultron is less than two months away.
