Vincent D'Onofrio Wraps Filming On DAREDEVIL Season 3 And Teases His Role As The Kingpin

Fans of Netflix and Marvel’s Daredevil last saw Matt Murdock’s archenemy The Kingpin in the show’s second season, where the villain was sitting in a prison he had absolute control of.

While it’s still unknown how, or if, the crime lord will manage to find a way out of prison, with Season 3 seemingly adapting the Born Again arc we can expect Vincent D’Onofrio to have a large role.

Fortunately, we are one step closer to seeing what Fisk has in store for The Man Without Fear, as D’Onofrio officially completes filming on the third season. And in honor of this occasion, the actor has released an ominous image over Twitter, teasing his role.

The image is a simple picture of his fist with a red filter that is an obvious nod to his nemesis. Still, while nothing major, the photo teases the possibility of seeing the villain once again use his deadly fists to dole out punishment to some unfortunate souls.

We need this guy in a Spider-Man movie. Even if it's just a small cameo or a secondary role.

I have been re-watching season 1 episodes of Law and Order Criminal Intent. His acting and character were the main reasons that I loved that show, especially the earlier seasons. Once they switched from NBC to USA there was a noticeable change in tone that I did not enjoy as much. D’Onofrio’s acting was still top notch.

That scene when Matt visited him in prison... intense as [frick]. Can't wait to see what his role's going to be in this new season (and hopefully beyond)!
