Disney+ Has Edited THE FALCON & THE WINTER SODIER Scenes To Make Them Less Graphic

In a somewhat bizarre move, Disney+ has edited a couple of scenes from one of its own show, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, to make their depictions of violence less bloody/graphic.

Disney+ has made a couple of obvious edits to two scenes from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier in order to town down the violence and make them less graphic.

The Direct has noticed that most of the blood was removed from a shot of Hydra scientist Wilfred Nagel's corpse, and his eyes are now closed. The second change also comes from a sequence in the third episode, when Bucky hurls a pipe through one of the Power Broker's mercs, pinning her to a container. Now, the pipe only glances off her chest.

Why the streamer is censoring its own show almost a year after it debuted is not clear, but it most likely has something to do with the recent hullaballoo surrounding the addition of the now defunct Marvel Netflix shows. Earlier this month, the Parents Television Council (PTC) kicked up a fuss about the TVMA-rated content being made available on Disney+, accusing the Mouse House of "destroying their brand."

Disney+ did implement stricter parental controls, but they've evidently decided to take more extreme steps. What this means for other Marvel shows containing more adult-oriented content remains to be seen, but it's worth pointing out that the latest MCU series, Moon Knight is relatively violent and doesn't shy away from a bit of bloodletting.

Disney is so confused

A little bit of blood and they panic

But teaching 5 year olds about sex is normal

@WakandaTech - Please name what state, school district, and city is teaching 5 year old children sex education in their curriculum.

@Chewtoy - It's not like you need to teach kids about sex to make them aware of the fact that homosexuality is a thing.

@SonOfAGif - I believe what @wakandatech is getting at is while it may not be in the curriculum, it’s the teachers that go off script and do what they want to indoctrinate children how they want. There are literally videos all over the internet of teachers just talking about how proud of themselves they are for talking to kids and having them participate in activities like this.

@WakandaTech - Not sure what these two things are supposed to have in common or when Disney has ever made a movie about the birds and the bees, but as a kindergarten teacher I can tell you children can definitely handle both blood and basic sex ed earlier than most people think.

@Drace24 - I learned about sex in the streets. The main thing to remember is, no matter how hard she shakes her leg, do not let go...! Well, not until someone gets out the hose...!

@WakandaTech - Because we all know that kids can see straight couples all day and be fine, but the minute they realize LGBTQ+ people exist, THEN they've been "sExUAliZeD"
