Marvel Studios has released another "For Your Consideration" poster for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and this one highlights the show's incredible cast, all while pushing the Disney+ series for "Outstanding Drama Series." Before you start worrying about WandaVision, that's expected to be highlighted in "Best Limited Series" categories as we head into awards season.

It will certainly be interesting to see how the Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan-led series performs because while it tackled some hard-hitting topics, it arguably wasn't among the MCU's best stories.

In our full review of the first season of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, we concluded by saying "Inconsistent storytelling and weak lead villains aside, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is a hard-hitting and action-packed new chapter in the MCU mythos which delivers an insightful and impactful exploration of what it means for a Black man to be Captain America."

Awards season should be really interesting this year. While theaters have been closed, we've had plenty of new content on television, and that means The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and WandaVision will be facing a lot of stiff competition (Elizabeth Olsen has to win, though, right?).

I liked it but I didn't love it.

In some ways WandaVision was better

In others Falcon and Winter Soldier was better

Overall id say WandaVision is better

@dracula - I liked wandavidion more, but the final in F&WS is way less disappointing than WV.

@dracula - neither show was perfect and each had flaws, but overall I'd say Falcon & Winter Soldier was stronger and better.

I mean I enjoyed the show like everyone else, and it certainly explored some controversial themes - but no way it should be considered for the Outstanding Drama Series...

They should've did live posters and had sebestian crying scene and his "if he's wrong about you then he's wrong about me" scene playing on loop and tell everybody that was the whole series. I think they'd have a chance then

''Inconsistent storytelling and weak lead villains aside'''

I still lol at this.

Anyway, Wilson and Stan really shined, but I do hope Russell and Lumbly deserve some recognition too. Scenes with them had me at the edge of my seat (figuratively)

Carl Lumbly deserves an award. Isaiah is the best of the Show and Lumbly's performance is incredible.

@Repian - Isaiah Bradley wasn’t even a full character in this show. He was a plot device.

@McMurdo - You're just enjoying trying to suck the joy out of the positive comments here. Pathetic.

@Repian - That right there may be the most emotional moment the MCU has ever had. That touched me 10 times more than Stark's death

@Spike101 - Was your comment the first? I saw it ... fleetingly. It is just like a shooting star. If you blink, you won't see it anymore.
