Some big casting additions were made to The Falcon and The Winter Soldier over the weekend, including USAgent! His involvement points to at least some of this Disney+ series revolving around who should wield the shield as Captain America, but Anthony Mackie has now cast some doubt on that. 

In the video below, Mackie is asked about becoming the new Captain America and responds by saying, "I am The Falcon, I will always be The Falcon. The moniker will stay the same."

Does that mean we're just going to see The Falcon flying around in his regular costume with the shield in tow? That seems highly unlikely, and the most likely explanation is that while Sam Wilson will be The Falcon when this series starts, he'll finally accept his new role as Captain America by the time it reaches its end, thereby giving him a new role in the MCU.
