Wyatt Russell has been getting a lot of hate for his role as Captain America in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, but his take on John Walker has been phenomenal. Neither a hero nor an outright villain, the character is extremely complex, and one we hope to see more of in the MCU moving forward.
The original Captain America is, of course, Chris Evans' Steve Rogers. The Disney+ series has only made fleeting references to him, failing to reveal whether he's alive, dead...or on the moon.
However, after seeing the interview below, many fans are convinced that Russell is teasing a cameo from Evans.
"Have I ever met Chris Evans? I think I have. I don't think I've 'shook his hand' met him, but I think I've walked by him somewhere and made eye contact," he started. "That counts as being a stalker, that doesn't count as meeting anybody. But, I guess it would. You just gotta wait until the end of the series and then everybody will be like, 'Oh, wow.'"
Well, it sounds like a big surprise is coming, but whether that will involve Steve showing up remains to be seen. It would be a nice way to wrap up this series, though Evans has maintained that his time as the character has come to an end. Here's hoping the final two episodes clear things up, eh?
