You may recall seeing some set photos of Serinda Swan with her head shaved on the set of Inhumans and we now know that Medusa does indeed wind up having her powerful locks cut off. Well, that's one way to save money, eh? Despite not having access to her powers, Black Bolt's wife is clearly still formidable and we'll just have to wait and see how much of the season she spends without them.

Hair doesn't grow back that quickly, of course, so it could be the last of Medusa's powers are seen in the first couple of episodes and then it will pretty much just be her as a regular person moving forward.

There are lots of other snippets of new footage and it's now been confirmed that Inhumans is going to premiere on ABC on September 29th. That's just under a month after it hits IMAX screens but the first two episodes are only expected to screen in those for a week at most. What do you guys think?

@CipherGuard - He's rite, in the 94's inhuman arc her hair gets cutoff by blackbolts brother in a rebellion like the comics. Its vital but if you haven't read the comics and arent interested dont watch or talk trash

@AleSir19 - But ppl always. Omplain about "stakes" Now one if the main characters powers is taken from them and is quite a humiliating way. Ppl nit like. Make your mind up guys. Want stakes and danger or not?

@mastakilla39 - Maybe so but doing it on Episode 1 or 2 is ridiculous. I'm getting an Iron Fist/Buck vibe of stripping the character of their ability to watch them struggle being normal vibe, and I don't like that. At least before Thor became unworthy we had a huge exhibition of his abilities, but even then that movie is low tier on the Marvel scale

@Deonox - I agree, i hate the whole, "i cant be normal waah" shit.

Her hair looks really good in one shot, just to turn really bad in another one. I think they run out of budget.

@Unites - to be entirely fair, that could just be an unfinished effect.

Heh, i wonder if they did that because of the plot, or if it became too expensive/iffy for them...

We more or less knew this was going to happen based on set photos. Also it's a convenient and comic accurate way to -hur hur- cut costs.

Good god, that dude's face when Medusa grabs him with her hair.

I really hope they don't try to do that fish out of water dynamic they did with Iron Fist. Taking the characters out of their hidden city and putting them in the real world.
