IRON FIST SPOILERS: The Ending Of Season 2 Alters The Show's Status Quo In A Huge Way

The much-improved second season of Marvel's Iron Fist has been streaming on Netflix since Friday, but just in case you haven't caught the final episode yet, beware of major SPOILERS after the jump...

Have you finished season 2 of Marvel's Iron Fist yet? If not, you'll want to avoid reading any further because we're going to SPOIL the hell out of the final couple of episodes.

As the story prepares to wrap up for another season, Danny manages to convince Colleen to take on the mantle of the Immortal Iron Fist, and while initially hesitant, she ultimately decides to do just that and manages to transfer the power of the dragon from Davos into her by conducting an ancient ritual involving blood, a tattoo, and the mumified corpse of a previous Iron Fist.

Right at the end, we see Colleen protecting the streets with her new white glowing fist - which also powers-up her katana - while Danny continues his path in Asia with Ward by his side. However, Rand still appears to have the power of the Iron Fist - in both hands!

The ending has divided fans and left many confused, but it would appear that Colleen Wing is now "officially" The Immortal Iron Fist, which has never happened in the comics.

Tell us, what did you guys think of this status quo-altering finale? Would you be happy if Colleen took over as the show's lead if we do get a third season? Drop us a comment down below.

Really interested in seeing what happened in those 'few' months that transpired, hope we get to see that in season 3. The final scene, with Danny and Ward, was a crazy WTF awesome scene; I'm glad that was in, because I would have been pretty unhappy with Danny not having the power and only Colleen having the fist.

And to answer the question, NO, Colleen should not be the lead. Give her a Daughters of the Dragon series, but Danny should always be the lead in his own show...
