Kevin Feige On Marvel Television: "Those Shows Could Be Tools In The Tool Box Of The Movies"

With Marvel releasing many Netflix series over the next few years, Marvel head Kevin Feige spoke on that section of Marvel, and revealed that we could possibly see many of those heroes appear on the big screen at some point in the future. Hit the jump to check it out!

After the release (and the success) of Netflix's Daredevil, Marvel will continue to release new Netflix series (Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, etc.), that will  eventually lead up to their action-packed Defenders TV show. Along with that set of shows, we will also be receiving Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 3, and Agent Carter season 2.

While it was already rumored that Daredevil would appear in Captain America: Civil War, the head of Marvel himself spoke to Io9 about the TV division and told how it could tie-in to their big screen films. "As those [shows] come out, as those get into the culture I think they’re, just like what happens in the movies, tools in the toolbox for some of those shows." He then added, "And what happens on those shows could be tools in the tool box of the movies. I think that’ll happen at some point."

Even though it's highly likely that some of the characters from Marvel's Netflix series will appear in Marvel's Phase three, many wonder if Marvel will actually bring up a character from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. This leads to many fans wondering will Marvel add the Inhumans that debuted in A.O.S. to the big screen film that set to be apart of Marvel's giant road to Infinity War. As Feige said before, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. plays a pivotal part in introducing the Inhumans film, so certain characters appearing on the big screen shouldn't come as a surprise. What do you think? Sound off below with your thoughts!

He still seems a bit noncommittal about it.

@NightWatcher

You think Iron Fist might have a cameo in Doctor Strange, like a reference or some crap?

@SuperiorMrGod

It's possible, especially if the Netflix series is a big hit. I'm still betting that we'll see Scarlet Witch make a cameo appearance or something of that sort in Doctor Strange.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Dr. Strange gets a mention in Iron Fist's Netflix series.

@KurtWagner1225 Same with comics and those asterisks you'd see at the bottom of the page (i.e., *See Daredevil #74). If anything, it'd make audiences go and watch the tv shows.

If Veronica Mars and Entourage had movies, then so can the Marvel/Netflix series.

I wouldn't mind a few character poking around in the movies. Obviously DD and Kingpin, maybe Mockingbird and Quake. Even Mack and May.

Now, it's confirmed that io9's somehow affiliated to Disney.

They despise DCCU and but praise MCU, even IM3. I don't do that.

Every character Marvel Studios has introduced outside of the incredible hulk movie will be in one of the Infinity Wars. It would also not surprise me if the next Iron Man comes out in 2020 with Antonio Stark.
