We learned more about the sort of technology the Time Variance Authority has in yesterday's episode of Loki, including "Time Cells." When the God of Mischief found himself trapped in one of these cells, he was forced to relive an altercation with Lady Sif, and that meant we got to see Jaimie Alexander's long-awaited returned to the MCU!
We haven't seen her since Thor: The Dark World's post-credits scene in 2013, but the actress has already been confirmed for Thor: Love and Thunder (which hopefully means we'll get some answers about her whereabouts all these years).
In this behind-the-scenes photo from the set of Loki, we see Alexander once again suited up as Sif, while she'd caption an Instagram Story by saying, "The Lady has returned...and she is here to stay." That definitely sounds promising when it comes to Sif's MCU future, and hopefully means the character is about to become a recurring presence in this shared world.
Perhaps she'll finally get her shot at romancing Thor, but we'd obviously be far more excited about seeing her kick some ass as the badass warrior we all know Sif to be in the comic books.
