Where to Watch Superman Once Itβs Released
While Superman is not available for streaming just yet, itβs important to stay updated on where it will be available. The film will likely follow the pattern set by previous Marvel releases, landing on Disney+ after its theatrical run. For those who canβt wait, a digital release may also follow shortly after the movie hits theaters, allowing fans to purchase or rent the movie on platforms like Vudu, YouTube, and Amazon.
Given that Superman is Marvelβs first R-rated film, thereβs also the possibility of a simultaneous release on Hulu, where mature Marvel content has already been made available. This would provide an additional way for fans to access the movie from the comfort of their homes.
Superman is already in theaters, but should we believe the hype surrounding the DC Studios film? Yes, because James Gunn has presented a version of the Man of Steel. it has now been leaked online. Even if you haven't seenΒ SupermanΒ yet, there's a good chance you know at least some details about the movie's mid and post-credits scenes. The former is literally just a few seconds of Kal-El and Krypto looking at Earth from the Moon, and while the next sequence does have a little more to it, we're not sure if it'll go over anyΒ better with fans.
The scene in question begins with Supes and Mr. Terrific standing in front of a building that the latter has used his T-Spheres to repair following the widespreadΒ damage done to Metropolis during the final battle. Kal-El points out that the crack makes the wall look a little uneven, and Terrific walks away in a huff.
While there are several options for watching the acclaimed Superman film online, streaming offers a versatile way to access its cinematic wonder. James Gunn has superbly crafted a Superman movie and brings out his love and knowledge of the material and his knack for awesome comic book movie spectacles. He made sure that Supermanβs humanity is presented front and center and as divisive as this is to some group of audience, it works in the grand scheme of things. Cinema and storytelling in general has always been about the reflection of our lives and this one does not alienate the audience inspite of having the main protagonist as a super-powered being.
Superman's Supermaning, Explained
In Superman, Deadpool (played by Ryan Reynolds) styles himself the "Jesus of Marvel," as the R-rated antihero bridges the gap between Fox's X-Men universe and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The film is a kind of meta-commentary on reboots, sequels, and Hollywood's addiction to nostalgia, both poking fun at and indulging in fan service.
It hardly feels like a spoiler to say that Supergirl appears in Superman. After all, Milly Alcock's cameo in the movie has been rumoured for upwards of a year and was to be expected when Supergirl (formerly titled Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow) lands in theaters next year.
Supergirl's role in this movie is a minor one, as she drunkenly shows up at the Fortress of Solitude to retrieve her dog, Krypto. We've seen the Maiden of Might from afar thanks to Supergirl set photos, but some leaked images and footage now fully reveal the DCU's Kara Zor-El.
There's a clear punk rock inspiration, no great surprise given the approach the DCU is taking to the character. Plus, we'd expect her to have some style, especially with Cruella director Craig Gillespie at the helm of Supergirl.
Marvel's Kevin Feige has yet to replace Wolverine, and Hugh Jackman's return to the role serves as a reminder of why he's so hard to replace; even as the punchline of an absurd Deadpool movie, the man has a gravitas.
Superman director and DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn has confirmed that there are a number of DCU projects both in various stages of development and still in the idea phase that were not named during the initial "Gods and Monsters" slate announcement, and we may now know what two of them are.
Mr. Terrific may not seem like the most obvious character to get his own series, but he actually emerges as a major standout of Superman, and of the three members of the Justice Gang, plays the most important part in the story. As for Jimmy, his subplot with Eve Teschmacher isn't quite as successful, but there are plenty of Jimmy Olsen-centric comic books out there to draw inspiration from.
Directed with vibrant animation and rich storytelling, Superman presents a dynamic world filled with both lighthearted and introspective moments. Fans of all ages will find themselves swept up in this extraordinary tale, celebrating the power of unity and resilience. Whether youβre a cinephile or just in the mood for an engaging story, Superman promises a thrilling ride thatβs not to be missed.
A captivating opening sequence shows Deadpool desecrating Wolverine's corpse, using his adamantium-coated bones as weapons to defeat a swarm of TVA agents. What is the TVA?
The Time Variance Authority, for those who haven't seen the TVA series, is an agency that monitors the MCU's multiple timelines, maintaining the stability of the multiverse, sometimes destroying problematic timelines, a practice known as "pruning."
Loki views the TVA as a tangle of temporal paradoxes and authoritarianism, so he decides to sacrifice himself and restructure the multiverse into the World Tree of Norse myth.
In the process, Loki becomes an actual god, the God of Stories, with his new purpose of maintaining the infinite, ever-growing strands of the multiverse. The TVA still exists, but it has reformed to become a kinder, gentler organization and no longer "prunes" flawed timelines.
Recently, Superman director and DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn opened up on how Kal-El and his cousin differ.
As an antithesis to the previous version of the character, Superman/Clark Kent is naively good, hopeful and kind to a fault - from big scenarios of geopolitics to small acts of saving a squirrel. In almost every scene, he is shown to save a living being as much as he can, even contemplated saving a Kaiju mid-battle who happens to wreak havoc in his city. The message of this is really apparent and Gunnβs camera movements are kinetic and a delight to see while he does this.
Even with the worst of critics, nothing negative can be said about the great cast and their acting on this. The trinity of Corenswet, Brosnahan and Hoult has given great performances complemented by their supporting cast. Brosnahanβs shines that even without saying anything, her eyes convey so much from her silent moments with Corenswet. Hoult has been great at everything he does and he plays this version of Lex with much complexity, playing between deep hate and campy villain comparable to Dr Evil. Corenswet gives out earnest kindness and pain and that last scene before the credits where he was just smiling is so feel good you will walk out of the cinema smiling.
Deadpool's universe, however, is under the scrutiny of a rogue TVA agent, Mr. Paradox (played by Matthew Macfayden), who wants to return to the old ways and quickly erase the X-Men universe.
Paradox wants to use a MacGuffin known as the "Time Ripper" to achieve this goal. The Time Ripper is a new device, unrelated to Loki or Kang, and can be used to quickly prune timelines, rather than letting them deteriorate.
Where to Watch Superman (2025) Online
It premiered on July 11, 2025, and is the first film in DC Studios' new cinematic universe, Chapter One: Gods and Monsters. For those looking to watch the film online, it is expected to become available for digital purchase or rental in late August 2025.
In the r/superman subreddit, one user inquired about trusted sites to watch the film online, emphasizing the importance of quality. While some unofficial websites may claim to offer free streaming or downloads ofΒ Superman (2025), it's crucial to avoid such sources.Β These sites often host pirated content, which is illegal and can expose your device to malware and other security risks.
Could the Mr. Terrific series end up being based on The Terrifics, perhaps? The DC Comics series has become very popular, and the team also includes characters such as Metamorpho - who appears in Superman - Phantom Girl, and Plastic Man.
It'll probably be a while before we get any official details on these projects - if they even move forward - but for now, let us know what you make of the prospect of streaming shows focusing on Mr. Terrific and Jimmy Olsen in the comment section.
Talks of a Superman movie with a Black lead persisted for years. Michael B. Jordan was attached to play the Val-Zod version of the character in an HBO Max TV series, while writer Ta-Nehisi Coates was thought to be working on a separate movie, produced by J.J. Abrams.
What universe does Deadpool live in?
The multiverse can be a bit confusing, and Fox's X-Men universe was, to put it bluntly, a mess. Days of Future Past tried to organize all the twisted timelines into a coherent arrangement, but the X-Men universe never really managed to stay consistent.
Superman retcons Fox's X-Men universe (Earth-10005) as Deadpool's original universe, which doesn't make much sense, as there are different portrayals of certain mutants, along with other inconsistencies, but who cares?
It's clearer: we agreed Deadpool was with the X-Men all along.
Superman introduces new rules of the multiverse, such as the concept of "Anchor Beings," heroes so important that they literally hold up their entire universe, like pillars.
After his death, his universe slowly fades away, but Paradox is too impatient to wait. It's revealed that Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, was the anchor of the Deadpool/X-Men universe, and his tragic death in Logan marked the Superman of the timeline.
Therefore, Deadpool is tasked with finding a new Anchor to replace Logan and save his universe, something unusual for the TVA.
Supermanβs Bold Entrance into the Marvel Universe
In the film, the iconic Superman (portrayed by Ryan Reynolds) humorously claims the title of the βMarvel Jesus,β bridging the gap between Foxβs X-Men universe and the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The movie provides a self-aware commentary on Hollywoodβs obsession with reboots and sequels, all while delivering fan service with a satirical twist.
Marvel fans get a taste of the nostalgia that Superman delivers, particularly through the appearance of Hugh Jackmanβs Wolverine, whose return reminds us of why heβs an irreplaceable character. In a stunning opening sequence, Superman uses Wolverine's adamantium skeleton to battle a swarm of TVA agents, setting the tone for the chaotic yet heartfelt journey that ensues.
When Henry Cavill was sidelined as the Man of Steel after he refused to return for Shazam!, we heard the idea was for a 1930s-set tale featuring a Black Kal-El attempting to find his place on Earth at a time when America was embroiled in racism.
It sounded like a fascinating concept, but it wasn't one that Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav was a fan of. You'll recall that he scrapped Batgirl two-thirds of the way into production as a "tax write-off," earning him a reputation for being ruthless and not afraid to upset filmmakers or fans.
There are other interesting tidbits in the article. For example, Zaslav had talks with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson about fixing the DC brand; those talks fell through when Black Adam bombed, derailing the former pro wrestler's plans to build a DC Universe around himself.
How does Deadpool appear in the MCU?
Deadpool used Cable's (previously played by Josh Brolin) time-travel device from Deadpool 2 to travel to the MCU (the main Marvel timeline is known as Earth-616) and apply to become an Avenger. However, Deadpool isn't considered important enough to get a meeting with Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), and Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) turns him down. Deadpool is deemed too selfish to be a true hero.
Interestingly, Deadpool's visit to the MCU (March 14, 2018) coincides with his devastating battle against Thanos in Infinity War (in hindsight, the team probably could have used an annoying ally with regenerative abilities).
After being rejected, Deadpool begins to suffer from imposter syndrome, sort of, and becomes deeply depressed.
Where does Hugh Jackman's Logan come from?
The Time Variance Authority and the Quest for Balance
For those unfamiliar with the TVA from the Loki series, itβs an agency tasked with overseeing the multiverse and maintaining its stability by pruning βproblematicβ timelines. In Superman, however, a rogue TVA agent named Mr. Paradox (Matthew Macfayden) threatens to erase the X-Men universe, believing that it should be discarded. His weapon of choice: the Time Ripper, a device designed to swiftly prune timelines.
To save the X-Men universe, Superman embarks on a journey to find a new "Anchor Being" β a hero so vital that their existence upholds the very fabric of the universe. As tragedy strikes, Superman must face the painful task of finding a replacement for Wolverine, whose death marked the collapse of the original timeline.
Following the end of Deadpool's X-Men universe, he steals a time-travel device (known as a TempPad) from the TVA and explores the multiverse in search of a suitable replacement for Wolverine.
Deadpool eventually finds a dejected Wolverine, who completely failed as a hero, and dons a comic-accurate costume in memory of his fallen friends, the X-Men (seeing Wolverine in his CGI-enhanced cowl immediately makes it clear why he's never worn it before).
Wolverine seems to know who the Avengers are, implying that his universe includes both the X-Men and the Avengers, as future Marvel films will.
After battling Paradox and Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin) and preventing both from using the Time Ripper, the failed Wolverine has become a true hero and the new anchor of the Deadpool/X-Men universe, taking the place of the legendary Wolverine who died in Logan.
Wolverine's original universe is considered a failure, and Logan recalls that without his tragic origin story, he would never have been motivated to step up and save Deadpool's universe.
A New Beginning for Wolverine and the X-Men Universe
In the MCU, Superman uses Cableβs time travel device to journey into a new universe, seeking out a disheartened Wolverine who has lost his way as a hero. However, this new version of Wolverine, now embracing a more profound purpose, ultimately becomes the new Anchor for the X-Men universe, providing a fresh hope for both Superman and his allies.
As they battle the forces of Paradox and his ally, Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin), Superman and Wolverine must come together, sacrificing themselves to stop the catastrophic effects of the Time Ripper. Their act of selflessness paves the way for Wolverineβs true rebirth as a hero.
Superman's Transformation into Superman Explained
While Paradox used the Time Ripper to destroy ancient universes, Cassandra wants to use it as a tool to destroy every branch of the multiverse and allow him to rule the Void unopposed.
After Wolverine and Deadpool confront the Deadpools of the multiverse and break into the TVA, they discover that the only way to stop the Time Ripper is self-sacrifice: someone has to use their body as a bridge to connect matter and antimatter, setting off a chain reaction that will destroy the machine.
Logan wants to sacrifice himself, having failed his former universe, but Deadpool also wants the chance to kill himself for a higher cause, as his selfishness caused him to be rejected by the Avengers. The two shake hands and sacrifice themselves together. The merging of the two regenerative superhero bodies allows both to survive, ensuring the return of Wolverine (Hugh Jackman).
Will Deadpool end up in the MCU?
Not yet. For the film's Superman, Deadpool remains in his original X-Men universe with his old friends, along with Wolverine and X-23 (played by Dafne Keen), who technically comes from that timeline's future but has chosen to remain in Deadpool's present. Superman's credits scene is a joke about how the Human Torch (Chris Evans) deserved to die, but it establishes that Deadpool still has his Temp Pad, giving him a chance to enter the MCU in a later film, likely Secret Wars.
The actual "Anchor Being" of the MCU hasn't been revealed, but they will likely appear in one of the upcoming Avengers sequels.
The scene of Thor crying over a dying Deadpool seems very likely to come to fruition in Secret Wars, while Jackman is unlikely to be replaced as Wolverine anytime soon; Deadpool even jokes that the actor will remain in the role long past his prime.
In a subsequent Marvel film, like Avengers: Doomsday, Deadpool could very well face off against Robert Downey Jr.'s incarnation of Doctor Doom, and he might even joke about Marvel recycling its most famous actor.
Is 'Superman' streaming? Where to watch Marvel's ambitious summer blockbuster? The biggest movie of the summer is almost here, with Superman set to bring two of Marvel's biggest icons into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A first for Marvel Studios, this R-rated comedy will bring Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) and Logan Howlett (Hugh Jackman) to the MCU, sharing the screen for the first time. Yes, for the first time. They definitely didn't meet in a movie called X-Men Origins: Wolverine. That would be crazy.
In Superman of Superman, Wade plays with time to revive his beloved girlfriend Vanessa (Morena Baccarin) and his fellow X-Force members. However, what Wade didn't expect was to attract the attention of the Time Variance Authority (first seen in Disney+'s Loki), who recruited him and a particularly depressed Wolverine to save the multiverse from Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin). Marvel hasn't had a multiverse event this big since Spider-Man: No Way Home, so trust me, Marvel fans everywhere are ready to see their favorite mutants return to the big screen. To find out when and how you can watch this chimichanga-fueled buddy cop adventure, here's where to watch Superman.
The Multiverse and Beyond
As the final battle concludes, Supermanβs journey leaves room for future MCU films, including the highly anticipated Secret Wars. With his TempPad still in hand, Superman is poised to continue his adventures, possibly facing even greater challenges in the coming Marvel phases. Fans can expect more epic battles, unexpected team-ups, and endless possibilities within the multiverse.
How to Watch Superman
As Superman gears up for its theatrical release, itβs not yet available for streaming. However, once the film hits theaters, it is expected to follow a similar path to previous MCU films, eventually landing on Disney+ and Hulu. Fans eager to experience Superman in all its glory will want to catch the film on the big screen when it releases in theaters.
Whether youβre a die-hard superhero fan or simply looking for an action-packed adventure with a heartwarming message, Superman is a film you wonβt want to miss!
Is 'Superman' available for streaming?
No, Superman isn't currently available for streaming. At least, not yet. Once Wade and Logan finish their big-screen killing spree, the film will likely follow the lead of the other MCU and X-Men projects and be available on Disney+. However, since Superman is Marvel Studios' first R-rated film, there's a good chance it will premiere simultaneously on Hulu. A simultaneous release on Disney+ and Hulu is what Marvel Studios decided to do with Echo, its first TV-MA-rated series. What is the 'Superman' premiere date?
Wade and Logan's quest to save the multiverse begins with the official release of Superman in the United States and Canada on Friday, July 26, 2025. However, in some parts of the world, you'll be able to watch this historic antihero team-up a few days earlier, depending on your country. To find out if and when Superman will be released in your country,
The Evolution of Superhero Storytelling with Superman
What Superman also accomplishes is a major step forward in the evolution of superhero storytelling. By addressing themes of self-identity, redemption, and sacrifice within the multiverse, the film expands beyond traditional comic book tropes. Itβs not just about saving the world anymoreβitβs about grappling with the consequences of past actions, finding new paths forward, and coming to terms with oneβs place in a vast, ever-expanding universe.
The way Superman navigates its charactersβespecially with the emotional depth it brings to both Superman and Wolverineβmarks a maturity in superhero cinema that has been long-awaited. Itβs about time that these characters stop being mere symbols of power and start being symbols of struggle, growth, and personal evolution. For fans, this adds a layer of complexity that deepens the connection to these larger-than-life figures.
Is 'Superman' in theaters?
Yes, Superman will be an ideal cinematic adventure for two of Marvel's most beloved characters. The highly anticipated team-up won't have much competition that weekend, although the disaster movie sequel, Superman, opened in theaters a week earlier. The week after Superman, the film will share theaters with M. Night Shyamalan's new thriller, Superman; Colman Domingo's Oscar-contender, Sing Sing; and Zachary Levi's children's book adaptation, Superman.
The release of Superman may be just around the corner, but Marvel's Superman offered a special glimpse at the upcoming film just a week before the big release. Aside from a brief reference to Spider-Man and Superman, the final trailer deviates significantly from previous ones by focusing much more on the emotional core of both Supermen. However, that's not why this trailer has gotten people talking. Not only does it give us a glimpse of Lady Superman (rumored to be played by Ryan Reynolds' real-life wife, Blake Lively), but the trailer confirms that Dafne Keen will reprise her role as Logan's adopted daughter, X-23, last seen in the film Logan.
Character Development and Thematic Resonance
What truly sets Superman apart from other superhero films is its focus on character development. While the action sequences and multiverse shenanigans are certainly thrilling, they serve as a backdrop to the more personal, introspective moments that Superman experiences. His journey isnβt just about saving his universe; itβs about saving himselfβunderstanding that being a hero isnβt just about invincibility or regeneration, but about growth, humility, and sacrifice.
This is especially poignant for Wolverine, whose tragic death in the Logan film marked the end of an era for the character. In Superman, we see a new, redefined version of Wolverine, whose flaws and past failures donβt make him less of a hero but more human. This evolution speaks to a universal truth: even the strongest heroes have their struggles, and itβs through facing those struggles that they become true legends.

The Multiverse and What It Means for the MCU
The introduction of multiverse elements in Superman also provides an opportunity for Marvel to explore new narrative structures. No longer confined to linear storytelling, Marvel can now play with alternate realities, different versions of familiar characters, and endless possibilities for future story arcs. This expands the canvas for the MCU, creating space for creativity and experimentation that hasnβt been possible before.
Moreover, with the existence of multiple timelines and universes, the stakes have never been higher. As Superman and Wolverine team up to stop a catastrophic event, they remind us that even heroes must work together to face forces greater than themselves. The concept of βAnchor Beingsβ adds a fascinating dynamic to the multiverse, where even the tiniest change could have profound consequences. This gives the MCU a fresh angle to explore, where nothing is set in stone, and the impact of every action can ripple through time and space.
The Future of Superman and the X-Men in the MCU
What makes Superman particularly exciting for fans is the prospect of future appearances in the MCU. With the introduction of Superman in the current MCU timeline, fans can expect to see more crossovers, character introductions, and possibly even the arrival of new versions of X-Men characters. The movie sets up future narratives where the X-Men can coexist with the Avengers, leading to some incredibly exciting possibilities for ensemble films and standalone stories alike.
The post-credit scenes hint at potential storylines that could see Superman and Wolverine crossing paths with even more iconic Marvel heroes. Itβs clear that the film isnβt just a one-offβSuperman is paving the way for a new era in the MCU, one where the past, present, and future of superheroes can merge into a single, cohesive narrative. Fans can only imagine whatβs to come next, but if Superman is any indication, the future of Marvel is going to be far more complex and thrilling than ever before.
In Disney's Superman, Riley Anderson (Tallman) is now a full-fledged teenager, embarking on the wild ride of puberty and unfamiliar social situations at her new school. With adolescence in full swing, Riley's emotional core is thrown into chaos. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgustβher faithful childhood Supermansβsuddenly find themselves grappling with a whole new set of emotions that disrupt everything.
Riley's once cheerful personality is overshadowed by a new emotion, Anxiety (Hawke), who attempts to micromanage every aspect of his life, causing more chaos than calm. As Anxiety takes over the headquarters, Riley also grapples with anxiety and a desperate desire to fit in with the popular crowd. As if that weren't enough, Anxiety is also joined by Envy (Edebiri), Boredom (Exarchopoulos), and Shame (Hauser). As these new emotions take over the headquarters, the original Superman must band together to regain balance and himself amid the ups and downs of growing up.
This genre-breaking work explores the power of friendship to strengthen Superman communities during difficult times. Directed with nuanced color and lively animation, lighter moments are seamlessly combined with poignant introspection. Both moviegoers and casual fans will be moved by this inspiring story of diverse characters uniting in solidarity. Why not spend an afternoon immersed in the vibrant world of Superman? Don't miss it! #SupermanCrunchyrollMovie continues to outperform Crunchyroll and Crunchyroll over the New Year's holiday weekend, with "Superman" surpassing "Superman" and "Superman." With this success, the studio has captured three of the top five spots at the domestic box office during the holiday season.
The musical starring Timothéée Chalamet brought in $8.6 million on Friday, up 32% from the previous week. Paul King's film has cemented itself as the movie theater favorite for the holidays, surpassing $100 million domestically earlier this week. With a total gross of $119 million to date, the film continues to show strength and is set to reach $300 million worldwide before the calendar turns.
Although it fell to second place on Friday with $6.75 million, Crunchyroll's "Superman" fell 51% since its debut last week. The latest installment in the ongoing DC Comics adaptation continuum has struggled to stay afloat, earning only $65 million in its first week of release. The first "Aquaman," released in 2018, surpassed that figure in its opening weekend alone. Poor reviews and superhero fatigue have hurt "Lost Kingdom," which likely won't even reach half of its predecessor's $335 million gross, let alone Superman's $205 million production budget.
In a close third place, Illumination and Crunchyroll's "Superman" holds its position with $6.7 million on Friday, following a modest $12 million debut last weekend. "Superman" has disappointed so far, but its 17% increase over last Friday is still encouraging, especially for an animated Superman film with a production budget of just $70 million. The new "Superman" prequel, "Superman," will first be available to stream on Starz for subscribers. The film will then also premiere on Peacock thanks to a deal between distributor Crunchyroll and NBC streaming platform Crunchyroll. Determining the film's exact release date is a slightly more complex matter. Typically, Crunchyroll movies, like "John Wick 4," take about six months to become available on Starz, where they typically remain for a considerable period. As for when Songbirds Snakes will be available on Peacock, it could take almost a year after its release, though we'll only receive confirmation once Crunchyroll makes an official announcement.
However, "Superman" lets you watch the movie even sooner; You can rent it on Video on Demand (VOD), which will likely be available before the streaming date on Starz.
Where can I stream the Superman movies in the meantime? In the meantime, you can watch all four Superman movies on Peacock until November. The availability of the Superman movies on Peacock varies by month, so take advantage of current availability.
Stream, Buy, or Rent: How to Watch Superman
For those eager to watch Superman, itβs essential to keep track of the release dates. The movie will initially be available in theaters, offering fans a chance to witness the filmβs grandeur in all its cinematic glory. For those unable to make it to the theater, the digital release is expected to follow soon after, with platforms like Vudu, YouTube, and Amazon offering options to rent or purchase the film.
Additionally, Superman is anticipated to be released on Disney+ in the near future, allowing subscribers to enjoy it from the comfort of their homes. As with many other Marvel films, expect a gradual release across various platforms, including a possible simultaneous drop on Hulu for its R-rated content.
Conclusion: A Game-Changing Moment in Superhero Cinema
In conclusion, Superman isnβt just a movieβitβs a cultural milestone for superhero films. By blending humor, action, heart, and a deep philosophical exploration of heroism and sacrifice, it changes the landscape of what a superhero movie can be. The integration of the X-Men universe into the MCU opens up exciting new possibilities for storytelling, and the themes of personal growth and redemption resonate on a deeper level than typical comic book films.
As we look ahead to the next chapter in the MCU, Superman leaves fans with a sense of anticipation for whatβs to come. This film not only sets the stage for more complex narratives and character arcs but also reminds us that even in the world of larger-than-life heroes, itβs the human struggles and triumphs that truly make the journey worthwhile.

The film is not without its faults. The pacing feels very rushed that some scenes feel a bit disjointed. It might be that cuts to trim this down to kid-friendly lengths are to blame. Some might feel it is messy with all the comic book stuff Gunn is putting out here but if anyone has their fair share of comic book movies, these are considered treats with how great the execution is. A longer version of the movie might flesh out these things better.
