For the most part, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law's post-credits scenes have just been a bit of fun. The revelation that Steve Rogers didn't die a virgin was admittedly a pretty big deal, but those of you who waited around today will have found nothing extra to watch.
Why not? Well, we're guessing it had something to do with an exciting last-minute reveal!
Much of "Mean, Green and Straight Poured into These Jeans" was devoted to Nikki and Pug's attempts to get a tailor who works specifically for superheroes to lend his talents to Jennifer Walters' wardrobe. It takes some doing, but he ultimately agrees to design some business suits for her that are a) stylish and b) capable of fitting her as Jen and She-Hulk.
When the hero later goes for a fitting, he hands her a little something extra, and we're assuming that's the superhero costume we've seen in various promos and TV spots for the show.
However, as the tailor makes his way through his workshop, he picks up another item he's been working on. Placing it to one side before putting the lid on the box, we briefly get to see that the mask inside belongs to Daredevil! Now yellow instead of red, it's instantly recognisable, and a strong indication that the Man Without Fear will appear in next week's episode.
In some ways, we can't help but wish Daredevil had never been confirmed as being part of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law because this would have been an unbelievable, jaw-dropping surprise for viewers. Still, Matt Murdock has definitely upgraded where he gets his costumes from (sorry, Melvin), and we're guessing this tailor is loosely based on the one from J. Michael Straczynski and John Romita Jr.'s Amazing Spider-Man run.
We know Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige is a fan of that series, and we're intrigued to see whether the character becomes a permanent fixture in the MCU.
