Jon Bernthal's 'Punisher' "Couldn't Be Touched" In A Brawl With Norman Reedus' 'Punisher'

It seems Jon Bernthal is quite confident in his fighting skills as Frank Castle on season two of Daredevil, at least when compared to the anime version of the character that was portrayed by Norman Reedus.

When Comic Book spoke with Jon Bernthal about his Sicario crime thriller, talk eventually turned to the actor's role as Frank Castle aka the Punisher in season two of Marvel's Daredevil Netflix series. Obviously, Bernthal couldn't go into specifics about his portrayal of the antihero, so he was asked about the Punisher being voiced by his Walking Dead co-star, Norman Reedus, in the anime film Iron Man: Rise of the Technovore and, more specifically, which of the two would win in a fight.

"Look, outside of my family, there's nobody in this world I love like Norman Reedus," he said. "I love that dude with everything I got. But his Punisher couldn't touch my Punisher."

Wouldn't expect any other answer from Bernthal, but it's nice to know that he's confident!

Anyhow, Marvel's Daredevil is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studio and Season two will start streaming on Netflix next year, while Season one is currently available now.
