For comic book fans, it was clear from the start that WandaVision's nosy neighbour Agnes was, in fact, Agatha Harkness. That made the reveal no less enjoyable, and the villain has become a real fan-favourite in the months since the Disney+ series wrapped up. As a result, it's no great surprise that a spinoff, Agatha: House of Harkness, is now in the works.
During a recent appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, actress Kathryn Hahn talked more about getting to take centre stage in a show of her own. "I mean, I didn’t even know the title of the show until it was released to the public," she admitted. "They keep it so tight."
One big theory doing the rounds online is that Mephisto will also appear in Agatha: House of Harkness after his existence was seemingly teased throughout WandaVision's nine episodes. Hahn, however, claims to be in the dark about any possible plans for that villain to join Agatha in the MCU.
"I keep hearing that. I have no idea. That was like a big thing during WandaVision, but I have no...who knows? Anything is probably possible, but I have never heard anything definitive about that at all." Hahn then deflected a follow-up question about Mephisto by noting that Agatha is "complicated and misunderstood," expressing her excitement to take a deep dive into the character.
There's no word on when Agatha: House of Harkness will arrive on Disney+, but we're guessing it's at least a couple of years away. Something tells us it will be a lot of fun, though!
