OBI-WAN KENOBI Rumored To Feature A Couple Of Iconic STAR WARS Characters - Possible SPOILERS

There's a huge amount of excitement surrounding Obi-Wan Kenobi, and while we know Darth Vader will make his presence felt, a new report claims we'll see a couple of other iconic characters from Star Wars.

Once upon a time, an Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Star Wars Story movie was in the works, but after Solo underwhelmed at the box office, Lucasfilm moved away from developing those big screen spinoff projects (sorry, Yoda). The desire for something featuring Ewan McGregor's iconic Jedi Master never went away, though, and we're now getting an Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series on Disney+.

Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Darth Vader are all set to appear in the show, but they won't be the only Star Wars icons to make their presence felt according to LRM Online.

The site reveals that both R2-D2 and C-3PO will show up in some capacity, though they're unsure how big or small their roles will be. The latter probably shouldn't cross paths with Kenobi because his memory was wiped at the end of Revenge of the Sith, but just because they're in the series, that doesn't necessarily mean they'll share any scenes with McGregor!

It was recently revealed that Leia could be a pivotal part of Obi-Wan Kenobi, with the former Jedi forced to leave Tatooine in order to protect her.

A New Hope clearly wasn't the first time she had crossed paths with Darth Vader, so perhaps the Sith Lord heading to Alderaan is what leads to a rematch with Kenobi? There's definitely room for that to happen, especially as there was nothing in that final battle on the Death Star that suggested these two couldn't have crossed paths after their duel on Mustafar.

Hopefully, more will be revealed about Obi-Wan Kenobi soon!

Since they're both in possession of Organa, it makes sense they appear when Leia does too. Doubt they'll share scenes with Kenobi though.

They could be Leia's assistants and C-3PO could be her teacher. A droid with so much knowledge could teach her about dialects, protocols, cultures ... Everything a cultured diplomat needs to know.

"especially as there was nothing in that final battle on the Death Star that suggested these two couldn't have crossed paths after their duel on Mustafar"

Nah there was definitely an implication they hadn't seen each other in that time period. If they go the duel route Imma be pissed lol

Vader literally said "last time we met I was the student" or words to that effect.

@Nightwing1015 - the last time we met I was but the learner, now I am the master...

@Batman5 - Yeah that, seems pretty definitive.

I also think it would kinda ruin their Death Star final fight. The idea that Obi-Wan has been stewing in that pain for 19 years...

@Nightwing1015 - Not necessarily, Anakin wasn't wearing his Darth Vader Costume in Mustafar...

@KnifeWasTooSlow - I don't follow what has that got to do with it?

@Nightwing1015 - How did Obi Wan recognize Anakin if he was fully covered? According to Obi Wan, Anakin died when he left him to burn.

@KnifeWasTooSlow - Wait I'm confused, are you saying Obi-Wan DIDN'T know that Vader was Anakin?? He obviously did regardless of what he was wearing. Jedi can sense these things...

@Nightwing1015 - I know, but their encounter in the Death Star is a very relaxed one. Him finding out Vader is still alive and as a machine, is a very interesting space.

@KnifeWasTooSlow - Oh yeah I definitely think him finding out would be cool. I'm just saying it would suck for them to actually fight before the death star encounter. It's clear they haven't seen each other since Mustafar from the dialogue in my mind.

@Nightwing1015 - unless they pull a George Lucas and go in and record new dialogue for that classic scene.

@Timerider84 - Don't think anybody would take too kindly to that.

Also it just kinda ruins the importance of that meeting if you say they saw each other only a few years prior.
