Once upon a time, an Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Star Wars Story movie was in the works, but after Solo underwhelmed at the box office, Lucasfilm moved away from developing those big screen spinoff projects (sorry, Yoda). The desire for something featuring Ewan McGregor's iconic Jedi Master never went away, though, and we're now getting an Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series on Disney+.
Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Darth Vader are all set to appear in the show, but they won't be the only Star Wars icons to make their presence felt according to LRM Online.
The site reveals that both R2-D2 and C-3PO will show up in some capacity, though they're unsure how big or small their roles will be. The latter probably shouldn't cross paths with Kenobi because his memory was wiped at the end of Revenge of the Sith, but just because they're in the series, that doesn't necessarily mean they'll share any scenes with McGregor!
It was recently revealed that Leia could be a pivotal part of Obi-Wan Kenobi, with the former Jedi forced to leave Tatooine in order to protect her.
A New Hope clearly wasn't the first time she had crossed paths with Darth Vader, so perhaps the Sith Lord heading to Alderaan is what leads to a rematch with Kenobi? There's definitely room for that to happen, especially as there was nothing in that final battle on the Death Star that suggested these two couldn't have crossed paths after their duel on Mustafar.
Hopefully, more will be revealed about Obi-Wan Kenobi soon!
