We recently got confirmation that the Solo: A Star Wars Story Disney+ spin-off focusing on Lando Calrissian we've been hearing about for so long is finally moving forward, with Star Donald Glover now set to write the series with his brother, Stephen.
We know that the show will focus on Glover's younger take on the fan-favorite space-swindler, but could we also see Billy Dee Williams reprise his role from the original Star Wars trilogy?
The actor sent out the following Tweet last night (via SFFGazette.com), and while he doesn't mention the Lando series specifically, that "may the Force be with you all" sign-off has led to speculation that he will be making an appearance.
UPDATE: It seems Williams was referring to his upcoming biography.
Williams returned as Lando for The Rise of Skywalker, but many fans felt that Lucasfilm dropped the ball by not reintroducing him earlier, so he could share the screen with fellow Star Wars OGs Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, and the late Carrie Fisher.
It's not clear if Alden Ehrenreich will show up as Han Solo in the Lando series, but one would assume Lucasfilm will have at least reached out to the actor, who most recently appeared in Oppenheimer, so see if he was interested in a cameo.
