When The Mandalorian returned to Disney+ last Friday, the series delivered plenty of big surprises and an awesome, unexpected Deadwood reunion with Timothy Olyphant and W. Earl Brown once again getting to share the screen. The former played Cobb Vanth, while the latter took on the role of the unnamed Weequay bartender who served Mos Pelga on Tatooine.

His role in The Mandalorian was a minor one, but big enough to have really resonated with fans and grabbed their attention. Will we see more of him? That depends on whether we return to Mos Pelga!

In the meantime, Brown has taken to Twitter to share a lengthy, amazing thread in which he reveals how he was cast in the show, his reaction to showing up on set for the first time, and his foul-mouthed reunion with Olyphant. It's incredible to get some insight into this from a legit fan, especially when you realise how long he's been forced to keep his role in the series a secret.

Check out the entire thread of Tweets below, and stay tuned for more on The Mandalorian:

In these days of horror, pestilence and conflict that was just a spectacular read. Pure childhood joy manifested in a full grown man.

"Favreau asked for you"

"ANIMAL HOUSE made me want to be in movies — I was in THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY; HALLOWEEN made me want to be in movies — I was in SCREAM. STAR WARS made me want to be in movies…"

Dude was Franks and Beans!

Much love to Favreau for doubling down on the western in space theme and making it meta with the Deadwood team.

Gotta admire the great joy this man has in his job and how he is able to share it with us. Kinda wish we got to see more of that Deadwood dynamic though (maybe in a later episode?)

Didn’t expect his little thread to warm my heart so much, but this was delightful and I’m so happy for him now lol. I also forgot how soon they started filming season 2
