IG-11 was introduced in the first episode of The Mandalorian, and was ultimately gunned down by Din Djarin when he decided to save The Child. Kuiil later decided to repurpose the bounty hunter droid, and turned him into a childminder of sorts for Baby Yoda who would do everything in his power to protect him.
Ultimately, his heroic nature won Din over, and he even got to "see" what's beneath his mask. The bounty hunter, who once hated droids with a passion, realised he'd been wrong, and was legitimately upset when IG-11 willingly sacrificed himself to save him, The Child, Greef Karga, and Cara Dune.
That sacrifice clear wasn't forgotten by the latter two, as a new screenshot from "The Siege" reveals that a tribute has been built for IG-11 on Nevarro.
It's surprising this wasn't highlighted in some way in the episode, but it's a cool addition, and a nice way of showing that the droid hasn't been forgotten after he took out those Imperial Stormtroopers. Of course, some fans will be left wondering why Kuill hasn't been given his own statue on the planet.
