Earlier today, Lucasfilm released another character poster for The Mandalorian's second season, this time highlighting Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito). That's now been followed by a fresh batch of hi-res stills once again putting the spotlight on that villain along with a handful of other key moments.

The first sees The Child "innocently" tucking into those cookies he stole from his classmate after using his Force powers (he's certainly become more mischievous since joining Din Djarin on his adventures). The adorable creature can be seen alongside the bounty hunter enjoying that ride in the Razor Crest too, though you'll know how that ended if you've watch the episode!

The Mythrol can be seen viewing that message to Moff Gideon shortly after Din, Greef Karga, and Cara Dune discovered those deformed clones, while the final shot is Esposito's smirking villain shortly after he learned that a tracking beacon has now been placed aboard the bounty hunter's ship.

Of course, he's surrounded by what appear to be Dark Troopers, and there are conflicting theories out there about whether he wants The Child to help create Force-sensitive warriors or because he's going to play a role in what ultimately happens with Emperor Palpatine and Supreme Leader Snoke.

Putting him in school could've been more interesting, but in the end it was just another ''leave Baby Yoda at the baby sitter'' moment for me. Which is kinda getting tiring.
