There are a lot of reasons to love The Mandalorian, but Din Djarin's badass ship, the Razor Crest, was somewhere near the top of that list for many Star Wars fans. Unfortunately, the sinister Moff Gideon destroyed the ship during the show's second season, and it definitely can't be rebuilt this time.
The same can be said for this real-life replica.
Last month, an incredible life-size model of the already iconic ship went viral and created headlines across the globe. Now, though, a video has surfaced showing its destruction in what was believed to be a windstorm (we say that because while it's clearly very windy, the people nearby may have pushed it; it's equally as likely they were attempting to secure it, though).
Either way, the video below makes for heartbreaking viewing as the ship starts to roll down the hill. Initially, it looks like it could be salvaged...until it keeps falling and eventually winds up obliterated.
It's hard not to cringe, but equally as difficult to look away. A lot of work went into making this replica of The Mandalorian's Razor Crest, and to see this happen is almost as heartbreaking as its actual destruction in the Disney+ series. As the show is not set to return until next year, we still have no idea what Din Djarin will pilot now he no longer has Grogu travelling by his side.
