I enjoyed this episode but what really annoyed me was that micheal and adam were not in the cage. They all fell in together and they mentioned adam last season with school play recap. Those supernatural fangirls from that episode are probably reading the books "HEY CONTINUITY ERROR"

Micheal/Adam are not in the cage, because it's not the actual cage. It's a makeshift cage that they created, where they could summon Lucifer (only) to.
