Woody Harrelson's role in Sony's Venom movie still hasn't been revealed, which has understandably led to speculation that he could be playing Carnage. Now we might just have some confirmation.

Last month, That Hashtag Show reported that the murderous Spidey villain won't actually play a large role in the film at all, and will only appear in one scene towards the end - possibly even a post-credit sequence. At the time, they suggested that Harrelson was a strong possibility to portray Cletus Kasady, and now Bleeding Cool is claiming to have confirmed that this is indeed the case.

They don't offer any other details, except to say they've been "told in a very confirm-y way that not only is Carnage to appear in the upcoming Venom movie but, yes, he will be played by Woody Harrelson."

Just a rumor for now, but given everything else we've heard up to this point, it would seem to be a safe enough bet.
