VENOM Bears His Teeth On This Amazing New IMAX Poster For The Marvel Movie

Venom is rapidly approaching and now a new IMAX poster has been released which puts the spotlight on Eddie Brock's symbiote flashing a menacing grin. He may be PG-13 but his face might give you nightmares!

Venom has been slapped with a PG-13 rating for "Intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action, and for language" and while it certainly sounds as if the movie will push the boundaries, it's not the R-Rated adventure for Eddie Brock that most comic book fans wanted. Regardless, this new IMAX poster for the Marvel Comics adaptation makes Tom Hardy's symbiote looking nothing short of terrifying!


The marketing campaign for Venom is now heating up in a big way and we'll hopefully get at least one more trailer (or some TV spots) before the movie is released next month. After all, there's a lot we don't know and while it would be a shame to have any major plot beats spoiled, seeing more of Venom in action would definitely be welcomed at this stage. What do you guys think of this latest poster?

(No spoilers) Holy shit Iron Fist S2 was solid - it was consistently good and ramped up to great in the last two episodes. Glad they were able to course correct without hindering this season too much, and I hope they have the budget to back up the tease at the end and visit certain locations - if the season has to be 5 episodes then so be it as long as its all great.

@ClungePool - To put it short: this is one of the most poorly edited movies I’ve seen in a while to the point where it’s almost Transformers 5 levels of incoherent, and because of that a lot of the action is indecipherable and it moves WAY too goddamn fast (a major character dies, and I didn’t realize he was dead until the movie was over). I can’t remember a single character’s name, a lot of the jokes fall flat, and there’s a lot of weird, random, stupid shit that happens that I would have to go into spoilers to emphasize on. It’s the worst of the solo Predator movies and EASILY Shane Black’s worst film. It barely even feels like it’s him making it (every now and then you can kinda tell it’s him because of some of the dialogue, but for the most part it just feels like anybody could’ve made it). And I was just kinda “eh” when I walked out of the theater at first, but the more I’ve thought about it, the more frustrated and angry I get. This is most likely gonna go down as the biggest letdown of the year for me.

Good artwork. They aren’t shying away from showing the main attraction which is the symbiote. Keep it up.

This movie has the potential to be Ghost Rider bad, or it could be as good as like... Blade 1? Likely somewhere in between.

Semi off topic I started Spiderman and I love it so far. Upset there’s no symbiote suit but I’ve unlocked the Homecoming suit and it looks so good and feels so right I’m going to use it for the rest of the game

I think this is gonna surprise a lot of people on here. It may not be the greatest film but general audiences are gonna eat it up just like Suicide Squad. All my friends who dont know shit about comics are excited for it.
