Video Goes Viral Showing A Bizarre, Living Substance Which Bears A Horrifying Resemblance To VENOM

Has Sony kicked off the Venom 2 marketing campaign already? Not quite, but a pretty horrific looking substance has been spotted which appears to be an alien symbiote come to life! Check it out...

"Venom" was trending most of yesterday on social media, but it wasn't because the first trailer for the sequel has been released (or because it's been delayed thanks to COVID-19). Instead, a bizarre substance has been spotted which bears a horrifying resemblance to the alien symbiote!

As you can see below, it really does look like Venom come to life, and even moves in the exact same way as Eddie Brock's iconic comic book "other."

However, as cool a marketing campaign as unleashing the Venom symbiote into the world might be on Sony's part, this is actually a bootlace worm. They can grow up to 55cm long and, when provoked, release a high concentration of venomous mucus (no pun intended!) which actually paralyses potential predators.

It's the longest creature on Earth, and those "powers" sound like something the actual Venom symbiote would produce!

The Venom 2 trailer is expected to be released imminently, but it all depends on whether the sequel to the unexpected 2018 hit is still scheduled to come our way this October as planned. For now, this is sort of like a teaser, and definitely creepier than the symbiote that calls Eddie Brock a "p*ssy"!
