Today is 4-time Academy Award-nominee Michelle Williams' birthday, and the official Venom Twitter account has marked the occasion with a new look at her character.

The All The Money in the World actress plays Anne Weying, ex-wife of Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock who briefly becomes She-Venom in the comics before tragedy strikes.

Williams recently put speculation that Anne would be bonding with the symbiote to rest by confirming that she won't be "digitised" for her role, but that doesn't necessarily mean the seeds won't be sewn for a future film.

Honestly, I'm really undecided on this flick. My first thoughts were a venom movie can't work without Spiderman. He is the antagonist. However, after watching a few of the trailers, and removing Spiderman from the equation, which is difficult, it looks like a decent standalone (almost horror movie) and is appealing. Maybe I'll wait to hear what some of the critics and users on this site say after opening weekend.
