The first trailer for Andy Serkis' Venom: Let There Be Carnage (we're expecting a second soon) finally unveiled Woody Harrelson's evil symbiote, but the shadowy shots he appeared in made it difficult to get a proper idea of the creature design.
Now, we have arguably our best look yet at Carnage thanks to an IMAX display that was spotted in a Chinese theater.
The Venom Site shared a couple of photos of the display, which features Venom charging at his mortal enemy. This much clearer, brighter look at Carnage highlights the finer details of the symbiote, and the overall design seems to be a lot closer to that of his comic book counterpart than we first thought.
As the title suggests, the Sony Pictures sequel will see Venom go fang-to-fang with his arch-nemesis from the comics, Carnage. The first movie proved to be highly divisive, but many fans are likely to give Let There Be Carnage a chance just to witness that long-awaited battle on the big screen.
Michelle Williams and Reid Scott are also set to reprise their roles from Venom, and they'll be Joined by Naomie Harris as the villainous Shriek, and Stephen Graham as an unnamed copper (he can be glimpsed in the trailer reading the Daily Bugle). Sean Delaney, Laurence Spellman, and Larry Olubamiwo are also on board in undisclosed roles.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage is set for release on September 24. Let us know if you're looking forward to the movie in the comments, and check out the first trailer below.
