VENOM: LET THERE BE CARNAGE Trailer Finally Introduces Us To Cletus Kasady And Carnage

There's carnage galore in the first trailer for Venom: Let There Be Carnage, as Woody Harrelson's Cletus Kasady is given the spotlight alongside his psychotic symbiote other half. Watch it right here...

The first trailer has been released for Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and this is bound to get fans talking.

If the first movie's humour wasn't to your liking, you may want to skip the opening and closing moments of this sneak peek, but seeing as we finally get to watch Carnage in live-action here, you'll probably do that anyway! He looks incredible, and best of all, Woody Harrelson has ditched the wig!

We'll delve into this one a little later, but Naomie Harris' Shriek can also be seen here, while Venom himself...well, he looks pretty much the same as last time, so there's no classic chest logo (yet).

"Tom Hardy returns to the big screen as the lethal protector Venom, one of Marvel's greatest and most complex characters," reads a brief synopsis. "Directed by Andy Serkis, the film also stars Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris and Woody Harrelson, in the role of the villain Cletus Kasady/Carnage."

That doesn't give us a whole lot to go on, but neither does the trailer!

Cletus is clearly being investigated by the cops for a series of unsolved cases, and it's when he's about to be executed that Carnage appears to make his presence felt. That's a slight departure from the comic books, but not one that's likely to bother too many fans in the grand scheme of things. Beyond that, we're still not 100% sure what Andy Serkis has planned, but this is an intriguing first look.

It looks interesting...but like Carnage’s design doesn’t really get me as much I kind wished he was more red and a slimmer version of venom now he just looks like venom but red...but hey I’m ready for it!!

Yep, you can tell the box office numbers incentivized them to try harder the second time!

Every time Sony does something stupid like this I'm going to be reminded of that brief period of time in 2019 where we thought Far From Home was the end of MCU Spidey, and dudes were coming on here saying "I trust Sony" knowing full well they didn't. An absolute dark moment in the timeline

I really think I might've even liked the trailer if that Venom voice still wasn't so bad. Feels like all the appeal of the quirkiness hinges on how you respond to that damn Venom voice

I was somewhat impressed by the first one, so I gotta see how this one will be. I'm assuming this will be PG-13, so Carnage is definitely gonna be... Censored lol. Perfect casting for him tho.

It seems to me that "Carnage" is the worst part of the movie.
