Things I think would make Batman Arkham City the game of the year!
Though it lost to Skyrim, which was too overrated, Arkham City has the edge and certainly can get the award given and provided with these 5 things that I thought lacks in the sequel...
I am a Batman fanatic and certainly the two arkham games are the best of their genres, these things lacks in the sequel:
1. Batmobile - we saw Batman's Batmobile on the asylum where he gets the explosive gel, I thought at that time that maybe some part of the game I could actually use it. Then it comes to my mind that certainly in the sequel, they will introduce the bat vehicle. So I think if it was actually provided in the sequel, it would be awesome, using the car to explore and bump those thugs in the city. Ofcourse, the map would be much more wider :)
2. SideQuest boss
Battles - it is not new to us that there are certain battles or boss battles in these series that was actually really easy. When you get to fight deadshot, or even the dumb zsaack, it was really easy, I mean you just need to get near to them then its done. I know that the real challenge here was to find them but it would be actually better if they make it more challenging. Like deadshot shooting at you while batman runs, or a cat and mouse chase scene between zaash. I kinda like the scene where batman chases the ninja that was part of ras al gul's. So make the sidequest battles a little more entertaining.
3. Catwoman's story in the main game was actually too short. If atleast gave her a seperate story mode wherein she will be pitted with ivy, two face, and other villains. It seems to me that the only reason catwoman was in the game, was to collect her own riddler trophies.
4. Retain the arkham asylum map. Ive played dead space 1 and 2, and the good thing about dead space 2 is the chance to get back on the 1st game. I mean you were able to explore the map of the 1st game. If in arkham city, it would be great to see that we are able to get back at asylum and fight other villains there.
5. Too many villains but some of them are not given the right amount of time and story. A lot of people already said these, so I was thinking maybe atleast gave us some boss battles to other villains that we saw. Killer croc, mad hatter, bane was actually kind of letdown.
