The last Spider-Man game: Web of Shadows came out in 2008. Web of Shadows is by far the best Spider-Man game up to date. (A lot of people didn't like it for some strange reason). And now, the next game Shattered Dimensions is due September 7th of this year.

Like Web of Shadows, Shattered Dimensions will have an original storyline. Of course, the big thing about Shattered Dimensions is the other Spider-Men.

Noir

2099

And a mysterious fourth.

Some people believe it's Zombie Spider-Man. I've watched the ending of the latest trailer a bunch of times. I took a screen shot from it.

C'mon. Does that look like a zombie to you?

Based on its sound, eyes, mouth, and background, It has to be...Spider-Carnage.

I first saw Spider-Carnage in the 90's show. He was the final villain of the show. He's Peter Parker merged with the Carnage symbiote. Picture Carnage less demented and more calculating. As a huge Spider-Man fan, I can safely say that the fourth dimension is Spider-Carnage.

Noir Spider-Man is Spider-Man from the 30s.

From what I have seen, the scenery for Noir will always be dark. The gameplay for Noir will be very different than Amazing or 2099. It looks like Noir will have spy elements and martial arts with combos.

2099 is Marvel's Batman Beyond.

The scenery for 2099 will be very futuristic. The game play for 2099 will be the complete opposite of Noir.

One thing I am curious about is Spider-Carnage's game play. He is a bad guy, so I am curious how he will fit into the plot.

It looks like Spider-Man's costume design will be an uptate from the PS1 game.

Also, Shattered Dimensions will have some first-person game play, as seen in the trailer.

So far, the only villains that have been confirmed are Noir Hammerhead, Kraven, and Noir Goblin.

The one thing I'm concerned about is the plot. Here is the plot premises from Wikipedia:

"A mysterious artifact called the Tablet of Order and Chaos gets shattered into four pieces, creating problems with reality. A mystic within the Amazing Universe, who is confirmed to not be a current or former Sorcerer Supreme, will tell Spider-Man how he can fix this, by going into three different dimensions (aside from his own), get help from the different Spider-Men in each dimension, and recover the tablet fragment in each."

Interesting, eh?

So Spider-Man will go to Noir, 2099, and Spider-Carnage's. The one thing I want to know is who the big bad guy is. When I first heard about Shattered Dimensions, I right away thought, "Mysterio!" But Mysterio was used in Friend or Foe. I doubt they will use him again. I don't see Venom appearing in the game since he was used in Web of Shadows. It would be awesome if somehow Spider-Carnage is behind the plot.

Well, that's my analysis of everything.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is due to come out September 7th, 2010.

Based on that LAST screenshot..I think you are RIGHT!!

I belived It would be spider-man from EARTH X
but you're idea makes more sense!

I LIKED Web of Shadows..but to me..

Ultimate Spider-Man (video Games) was the BEST!

Also Back in the day MAXIMUM CARNAGE was the best!
and still one of my FAVORITES!

wow when u say ur going to work on it soon you mean soon! i'll try to work on mine soon!

what do u mean though? r u saying that Spider-Carnage is going to be the next playable dimension, meaning u play as Spider-Carnage then it turns out that the guy ur playing masterminded all of this?

maybe it's just me but 4 some reason i can't very well follow that logic

but great article anyway dude!

and may the best man win!

@otherside I'm saying that Spider-Carnage will be playable and perhaps he's the mastermind. I know it sounds weird, it's sort of like Ultimate Spider-Man. You play as Venom and he's the main villain. I'm also saying that Spider-Carnage is a villain, not a good guy. So, he must have a role as a villain.

I look forward to reading your article.
