Here's a small blurb to get you started
"What we know for sure:

* Marvel Universe will be free-to-play, and was planned that way from its inception.
* It’s being developed by Secret Identity, a sub-group of Gazillion that was formed in late 2009 specifically to build Marvel Universe.
* You can play as Marvel characters, and other players can be the same hero as you at the same time, which the devs believe creates “lots of problems and lots of opportunities.”
* You won’t have to choose only one character, but will be able to play as all of them.
* Some of the characters you will play as are: Captain America, Iron Man, Wolverine, Hulk, Thor, Spiderman, Nova, and Squirrel Girl...... "

This sounds lame. First off, all of the good MMOs cost a monthly fee, so I'm not too excited about it being free. If it's also going to be browser based, then that is a major fail. This just tells me that they're looking to go cheap on the game. Secondly, why not just let the player create his own hero and have him interact with characters in the MU? That sounds SO much better than playing as Wolverine but also having 5 other Wolverines in your party. How the hell am I supposed to roleplay then? This hinders the player's creativity and imagination, which is all part of the MMO experience.

I'm very disappointed in this. Marvel SHOULD have gotten Cryptic Studios to make this game. City of Heroes was excellent.

what you get to play as them rather than making your own?....lame

Free to play is a good thing at least

I think they should rethink that aspect, if they want to overshadow DCU they need to get creative if they add in character customization.

Marvel has a robust amount organizations, races, heroes, and villains. You can choose side with special missions for both sides.

The classes could be Mutant, Mage, Super Soldier, Gamma powered, Tech User, Cosmic Being, Alien, Asgardian, Other, and non-powered Human

The organizations: SHIELD, SWORD, HYDRA, AIM, and others, each with their own missions

I hope they take these into account as they get closer to creating the game

will this becoming to ps3 & xbox 360,playing with characters like nova will be awesome, but will it feature create your own hero or villain.

i'm still pissed at sony at the moment, paying a monthly fee for dc online & i ain't been able to play it for a week & a half.

no custom creator? so 50 spideys in a zone? ugh lame.. seems like this won't be a real MMO... they all try to beat City of heroes.. and they all fail at doing so... Champions online and DCUO still haven't taken the #1 spot.. and from the sounds of this.. marvel won't either.. Champions Online is free! DCUO is $15 a month.. CoH is $15 a month.. and yet COH is beating them ALL out of the water..
