New Travelogue Video Released For DCUO

Sony Online Entertainment has released a new travelogue for DC Universe Online and the Little Bohemia district.

Take a tour of Little Bohemia, which is apparently a district within Metropolis, which you'll have the opportunity to visit in DC Universe Online. I don't recall ever reading about it, but I'm out-of-touch with comics anymore...

DCUO is being developed by the SOE Austin studio team in collaboration with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics' top talent led by Executive Creative Director Jim Lee, SOE's VP of Development John Blakely and SOE's Austin Studio Creative Director Chris Cao.

No word yet on a release date or when the beta will open up.

ComicBookMovie.com and Best Little Sites was the brainchild of Nate and a friend way back in 2002. Nate initially focused on the back-end programming and front-end design, but now manages the company and its associated sites as well, with a LOT of help from some very talented contributors.

Nate has loved comics from a very young age and continues to read them on a regular basis thanks to subscriptions to various titles (both Marvel and DC). He also loves movies, as his wife and children will attest. He's not overly critical of movies, so his reviews should be taken with a grain of salt as he's much more interested in being entertained and escaping the "real" world for a couple of hours than finding every conceivable plot-hole and character flaw in a film.

Outside of his guilty "nerdy" pleasures, Nate enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys, CrossFit, playing guitar, coaching youth sports and MMA (he spent a couple of years in the cage as an NHB fighter, but is now MUCH too old).

This is the same video found on the official site, which was released to the press today by Sony Online Entertainment (SOE)... I *think* I mentioned that in the article...

It took me forever to pull down the video from their press site! It was originally 300+ MB :o|

Great find NateBest!

@SuperLantern: They did have a Marvel Universe game featured to come out but for some reason they stopped production. They should resume work sometime soon.

@Aztlan: What makes you think the game has no monthly fee?

@AirBeyonder: They did resume production. It's supposed to come out in 2013 2014 or something cause they restarted everything. The movies were probably taking priority over the game.

Is anybody else a little more than annoyed by this game already? I want to play it so badly, but it's been almost 2 years since the first trailer and pictures have come out... but there's still no release date? Not even word of a beta?

To be honest, I'm a little burnt out on the subject. We've seen tons of pictures of cityscapes and characters that are going to be featured, you'd think they'd have a little something more at this point in time. I think everything after this point is really just a spoiler. I mean, what's the point of playing the game if you're going to show us every character you're throwing in and every location you're going to feature?

@RandyTheFool Agreed! The new screenshots and videos are nice, but I'm ready to play! I'm crossing my fingers that they at least have beta info at the San Diego Comic Con this year :o|
