As fans of the widely popular Naruto Shippuden series are aware, the show is approaching its conclusion as the Manga on which it is based ended its run in November.  The show has had mixed reviews from fans in its final seasons, but the game looks to surpass its predecessors with even larger, more visually complex battles. While I agree that Naruto has nothing on DBZ, it is certainly better than Attack on Titan, minus all the filler episodes and flashbacks.

Naruto is a hellava lot better than DBZ. DB has essentially the same formulaic plot over and over and over again. Naruto has substance, great character development, and is very unpredictable.

The ending on the manga was... underwritten to say the least. It could have been a good one if he had written it over prehaps 6-10 chapters rather more then just the lousy end in November

@Melkaticox I'm not saying Attack on Titan doesn't have a compelling plot, the pacing just sucks. It took way too long to get going. Kinda like Goku on Snake Way.

sorry, i am a huge naruto fan but it is horribly predictable. even the manga finally was overly predictable, unfortunately.


spoilers .......... It was so damn cookie cutter, just like the battle with pain in konoha. Just no consequences. everyone dies, ok we bring them back. so cookie cutter.

@BatSlam but the same could be said for a lot of well respected anime and comics in general. It has become cliche how often comic characters are killed and resurrected or retconned.

@Melkaticox gotta disagree. Naruto at least has the potential to be inspiring. The animation is on point, and the music (at least early in the series) was excellent. Attack on Titan is for the most part boring, and frankly I don't care what happens to any of the characters. AoT does a poor job of getting the audience invested in its characters.

@Melkaticox Lmao cause AoT is the gold standard by which we judge anime? Hands down Trigun is the elite of anime imho, but we're not discussing the best anime. It's simply what's better than AoT...which Naruto is.

The only thing DBZ has on Naruto is that the fight scenes are more high scaled, that's it. When it comes to layered characters, development and compelling storylines, Naruto has that by a landslide compared to DB

Give the same meal to 6 diffrent people and you would probably get 6 types of answers because everybody look as foodtaste on diffrent point of view.


If you are not a fan of Narruto, thats fine. I can understand if you don't like it. But that does not mean that other people that thinks the anime/manga is good are wrong.

Your argument over NarrutoVSAttac on Titans or NarrutovsDBZ is like MarvelvsDC bullshit. It all goes down to matter of taste

I've watched both but enjoyed more Naruto than Dragon Ball Z. Still the Dragon Ball Z movies were the best especially my favorite Lord Slug.
And yet you all speak about fillers I enjoyed the Naruto fillers they were pretty funny and as for Dragon Ball Z filler good god man it takes two freaking episodes just to power up going aaaahhahhhhhh that's a time waster.
At least in the movies they pass all that bullshit.

Love both Naruto & Dragon Ball Z Kai (No Fillers),the only problem with both shows are the fillers episodes.

Naruto is one of the best anime of all time. It's certainly not better than DBZ but it beats the ball sack out of Attack on Titan.
Also, the Naruto games are the only anime games other than Budokai 2 and 3 that are good. They aren't just good either they're actually great games.
