"The King of Fighters movie will introduce a new science fiction spin into the setting established in the games’ universe by following the surviving members of three legendary fighting clans who are continually whisked away to other dimensions by an evil power," says insider blog Movieset.

"As the fighters enter each new world they battle that universe’s native defenders, while the force that brought them seeks to find a way to invade and infect our world."

Looks pretty similar to the Tekken trailer. Maybe the two casts should fight it out. Loser goes straight to DVD

Doesn't look much better then Tekken but I'm going to watch em both just cause I'm a fan of both games.... I watched DOA just cause I was a fan and wasn't as disappointed as I thought I was going to be it was pretty damn good.

haha, the face on Sean Faris when they say his name. Looks to be maybe slightly better than Tekken..but still God awful.

Yeah a little better than Tekken. Hey they let Ray Park use his face. He's movin' on up!

His face is so nondescript. Would you think a face like that could hand you your own ass with your spine sticking out of it?

@betty@ Ray Park is in this season of Heroes... and he has shown his face in every episode he has appeared in which was quite a few.

THANKS LEEE!!! I was waiting for this forever!!! But where the [frick] is Terry Bogard?!?!?!?!? Cause i didn't see anyone with blonde hair OR A Red Leather jacket with a white star on it. How hard would it be to get it right???? HONESTLY?!?!?!?! I mean, pretty much every other character could have differences but Terry's look is a must! Mai's sexy suit would have been an asset. And Ray Park for Rugal is probably the worst ever casting!!!! He looks NOTHING like he's supposed to. No other fighter prides himself more in his technique than Ryo yet he doesn't wear a Gi??? I mean, the game has elements to it for a reason. Mortal Kombat was somewhat faithful to it's essence which is why it ROCKED!!! DOA as well! Tekken looks a bit lacking but interesting(since i've never been a fan of the game) but this looks worse than Van Damme's Street Fighter as far as faithfulness goes. I'll still see it once though.

Yeah, HOLLYWOOD luvs changing stuff ffs, but like you dude, i enjoy 'em for a bit of brainless entertainment and good fun!!

Im really wanting TEKKEN to be half good man, my fav!!

Hopefully we'll get new MORTAL KOMBAT news!!

I'd love a new MK film! Maybe one of Kung Lao's generation when it was a bit more Medieval! I even loved the TV show!!! It had unsurpassed TV action/martial arts scenes :))

And this looks like pure garbage. There will never be a good fighting video game movie adaptation, it's just not possible.
