Dr. Ian Malcolm was never one to shy away from speaking his mind, and that's especially true when it comes to dinosaurs. Now, he will lend his sage advice in Universal and Frontier Developments' upcoming video game
Jurassic World Evolution.
Actor Jeff Goldblum shared a video announcing his return as the fan-favorite character in
Jurassic World Evolution, a dino park building simulation game which he gives
"10 Goldblums out of a possible 10 Goldblums" - his highest possible rating.
In the game, Goldblum's Dr. Malcolm will serve in an advisory role build your very own
Jurassic World. He'll help guide you through the moral choices and tactical decisions that'll test your building and management skills as you attempt to run a successful park. What could possibly go wrong?
Of course, having Dr. Malcolm as a guide seems like a somewhat odd choice given how against
Jurassic Park he seemed to be, and what he experienced there of course. But perhaps he'll use that experience to help navigate you on this new journey, which promises to expand on the original
Jurassic World mythology.
Who better to have as your Jiminy Cricket when playing with dinosaur breeding than the quick-witted Dr. Ian Malcolm? Just remember his initial warning:
"Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."
Jurassic World Evolution is set to release this Summer on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Meanwhile, you can catch Jeff Goldblum's Dr. Ian Malcolm on the big screen in
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom this June.
