Sony has released a new "Super Speed" video for the upcoming DC Universe Online MMO that's due out this November. Who wants to be like the Flash?

DC Universe Online brings high-energy action to the forefront with a combat system designed to deliver a fast-paced action experience with the extraordinary powers of DC Super Heroes and Villains at your disposal. DCUO offers a dramatic online setting where players battle with or against their favorite DC Super Heroes and Villains including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and The Joker. For the very first time, players and fans will be able to enter this fabled world as an active force for good or evil. The action and drama will play out in such well-known locations such as Gotham City and Metropolis.

Flash has to be one of my favorites, but I'm not sure what I'll end up choosing... Super Speed or Flight?

Jens Andersen. Interesting name. Flash is the man! I understand why they have made the superspeed seem "slow", if the characters could go real time flash superspeed then you wouldnt see the character, just a blur.

I cant wait for a Flash Film.. i hope they dont wait until Green Lantern comes out to greenlight Flash.. They need to greenlight Flash Now so it can come out 6 months to a Year after the Lantern..

Grif- Personally, if i get to have a grappler and swing from building to building, hide in shadows to perform stealth takedowns, with maybe the slight perk of being a batmanesque martial arts master where my moves would have a slightly better response time than others, i'd actually skip on being Superman.

You play as your own character. You can't be Bats or Supes or any other DC hero. The game will be awesome.

robdel- True, i was speaking figuratively. If i could choose all of Batman's abilities, i'd skip on Superman's. This is what makes this game so cool. The fact that you create your own character and that you can base him or her on your favorite DC hero :)

This is gonna wipe out superhero games!

Love the FLASH too, my fav, especially in videogames, love playing him in MORTAL KOMBAT VS DC UNIVERSE!

Damn always wanted that FLASH SNES game, never been able to find it! : (

@NateBest Well you could go with Acrobatics as well, it looks pretty solid :D Batman FTW

Been following this game for quite some time, loving the idea of the "Inspired by" feature. I have a group of friends all waiting for the game, if anyone needs a SG/Legion/League give me a shout and i'll be more than happy to group and raid with any of you all. Which reminds me...all CBMers that are gonna play should go to the same server at the least if not create a SG together :D

How about Supergirl and Batgirl and including Superboy and Robin be introduced to the DC Universe Online.

I will like to see Supergirl knock out Granny Goodness and the Furies, Livewire, Rampage, Silver Banshee, and The 3rd Phantom Zone Supervillainess Faora teaming up with General Zod and Jax-Ur fighting Superman.

@grif -That's not a matter of straight physics and color blur in the Flash's trail. You have to realize that most of what you're seeing is caused by the Speed Force, which has no realistic translation to the real world. As for the color streaks of his costume, you would see them if the visual was being slowed down enough for your eyes to see the Flash's actual body at that speed.
