Angelina Jolie Back For Wanted 2?

"Wanted" director Timur Bekmambetov is not shy about his desire for Angelina Jolie to reprise her role in "Wanted 2." Be careful there are a few spoilers ahead.

When asked how the sequel would bring back Jolie Timur Bekmambetov states:

"If you remember from the first film, we have a recovery room with the baths of wax," Bekmambetov told MTV News. "We know how to do this, but it's still tough to do, because the bullet is inside her head."

"But there has to be a reason for her to come back... and we know the reason," he added. "I think we found the reason for her to come back."

"She was kind of... dead," he laughed.

Although it is clear that Timur Bekmambetov wants Jolie back for the sequel, it isn't set in stone that she will return. Timur did go on to tell us that "I think we will make the movie this winter."

I think for "Wanted 2" to be successful Angelina Jolie has to be in it. She was the highlight of the first movie. I just don't see its being as successful with out Jolie's beautiful presence.

The answer is simple: Change the character.

Don't just bring her back. Bring her back with problems, or a vastly different concept now that she has been shot. Make the bullet to the head a redefining moment, or you will look dumb resurrecting her.

Some possibilities...

- Put her in a wheelchair, a la Oracle
- Disfigure half of her face/head
- Without depth perception, or even blind, can she shoot at all?
- Has this changed her personality?
- Does the remember the events that caused her to shoot herself?

WANTED 2 wont be the same without JOLIE! Lets hope though we some of the fantastic WANTED costumes in the sequel though!

Its a joke. She didn't just get shot in the head, her head was [frick]ing blown in half! Shes dead! If this tool things putting her in a bath is a believable way of bringing her back then let him run with it..i won't be seeing the movie either way, the first one sucked.

Wow, I thought I was all lonesome in thinking Wanted was aweful... and part of it was Jolie sucked bad. She wasn't sexy at all and she looked like she could barely hold some of the guns she wielded. She actually looked unhealthy. Pass through some frames if you have it on DVD and take any opportuniy to look at her knee's and elbows, they are so scrawny and knobby it's gross, like she'd been fasting for a few months or something.

i'd rather dig my eyes out with a spoon than watch this. the first one still gives me nightmares, what an awful movie...talk about not following source material, they could have named that movie ANYTHING and no one would ever know it was supposed to be based on the comic

Wanted was based of a comic book> The movie came out when I was not on this website, and I never heard of the comic book. And I dont think people come back to life after getting shot with a bullet in the Temple. If thats the case Common, Morgan Friedman, and everyone else who died can just come back life. They put the GAY in the word gay. No homo

Don't get me started... I didn't like the comic either. The story basis was good, but some details were just absurd. Being a member gives you free pass to rape and murder for any reason and you get off with a flash of your pin to the cops... wtf, I thought that was incredibly retarded and an unnecessary attempt to intensify the gravity of the evil that has gripped the world. I disliked the story on all the same basis for my dislike of the Marvel character Daken. They tried entirely too hard to take this to an unrealistic extreme, and I mean that for the comic.

I still haven't seen Wanted, and boy from the sound of things maybe I shouldn't even attempt to...although I'm betting it was still better than Max Payne. Caught that on HBO the other night, thank God it was someone else's HBO and I didn't have to pay a cent to see it!

Sirprize i thought the same about Jolie until i saw Changeling..seriously amazing performance! Granted she has Eastwood directing her but i think the reason she comes across so samey in most of her movies is because they are simply the parts she is offered! Its not a stretch for her to play, so she takes the easy money and phones it it. She needs to seek out meatier roles...maybe still be naked in them though!

bring her back, i sure as hell wouldnt mind it anyway...the movie was awesome lets hope they bring her back in a creative way that wouldnt make the movie suck in general which i hope doesnt happen.

Meh, I think Jolie is WAY overrated, just like Megan Fox.

Besides, i would rather see a true adaptation of Millar's Phenomenal "wanted", though we all know that will never happen.
