The director said he wanted her, but does she WANT Wanted?

Last time anything was heard about "Wanted" it was said that Fox(Jolie) may make a come back. Though it sounded ridiculous they were able to think it up in a way that...kind of made sense. Now Anne Thompson says that Jolie is reading the current script, with hopeful Universal execs waiting for her thumbs-up about the less than great idea.

So in "Wanted" as we all know, she bit the dust. Even Jolie herself said that Fox was dead. But she was what brought a lot of people to see it so it's no surprise that Universal still wants to milk their star for all she can bring. Let's face it without her, it will probably fail. Without her, it'll be like "Speed" without Reeves, it would be like "American Pie" without the main guys, and it'll be like "Captain America" with no Jensen Ackles (sorry but I had to throw it in for the argument). It'll be an epic failure. On the prospect of bringing the character back, Bekmambetov tells MTV:

"If you remember from the first film, we have a recovery room with the baths of wax. We know how to do this, but it’s still tough to do, because the bullet is inside her head…But there has to be a reason for her to come back… and we know the reason. I think we found the reason for her to come back."

But of course bringing back a big star like Jolie won't be cheap. "Wanted" surprisingly made a lot of money. If she asked for more, do you think Universal would give it to her? Could the sequel survive without her? Do you think she should be brought back? And is the idea to bring Fox back going to look like a cheap Marvel Comics-style cop out of death? Discuss it all below.
