Wonder Woman 2 is set to start shooting later this month (set photos popped up online recently indicating that it may have already started) and now star Gal Gadot has shared a photo of herself in the weight room alongside her personal trainer Magnus Lygdback. As you can see, the actress is clearly fighting fit and ready to return to action as the iconic Amazon warrior last seen in Justice League.

Wonder Woman 1984 is believed to be the official title after both director Patty Jenkins and producer Geoff Johns took to social media over the weekend and updated their Twitter banners with a new logo reading, "WW84." It's previously been reported that the sequel will have a Cold War setting so the name makes sense and it will be interesting seeing what Diana Prince gets up to during that period.

Are you excited to see Gadot return as Wonder Woman in the DC Films Universe or did Justice League sour you on the character? As always, share your thoughts in the comments section down below.

The unfortunate thing with her is that she's naturally very, very slim. So when she works out for months she ends up looking only average instead of looking even somewhat muscular. Imagine if she had arms like Tessa Thompson in Ragnarok. Ideal!

@Boyle360 - As she continues to age she'll fill out more and more. She'll be good.

I am glad Gadot is WW! Yeah she is not Oscar level actress, but she is genuinely a good person. I feel the same way about Chris P. as well.

@JoeMomma29 -

I agree with you, although Chris Pratt has more experience and put a lot more work into his career than she has at this point. Sure I've not seen anything Oscar worthy from him, but his comedic nature and charisma sort of lets him get away with that in the roles he chooses. In that regard they're certainly not on the same level and don't have a similar resume.

@JoeMomma29 - Gal Gadot is great as Wonder Woman

@JoeMomma29 - I said this about her when WW came out, but there’s something about Gal’s eyes – it’s something that both Brandon Routh and Henry Cavill have which makes them so perfect for Superman – there’s an inherent kindness to them somehow.

You truly believe that they want to save the world and are devastated that they can’t save everyone. Maybe that’s me projecting character traits into physical ones but it’s really affecting. It’s hard to explain.

I can’t wait to see what Patty Jenkins and co deliver with Wonder Woman 1984, that first film really worked something special for me. It’ll be a tough act to follow but I’ve got faith.

Gal has been great in the role as well, the DC films are the only ones that I’ve seen her in and while I certainly wouldn’t cast her in a Mamet or Sorkin work, Jenkins in particular seems to really know how to play to her strengths and get some good work out of her.

In fact I’m excited and optimistic about all of the DCEU’s imminent projects, which is saying something after Justice League. I think Aquaman, Shazam!, Wonder Woman 1984 and The Flash (especially after I saw Game Night) is a very solid and promising run of films. Get a Man of Steel 2 attached to that and I’ll be a very happy boy.

@FromACertainPOV - The first film was good though I got a feeling that ending was supposed to be something else which would have made the film either fantastic and one of the greats or something similar to what we

As for the upcoming DCEU films I'm keen to see what the do to Aquaman hopefully its good didnt really like Jason Momoa in Justice League. Shazam could be a surprise hit if done well and the Flash I'm not all that excited for don't know why though

@blitzburgh - Have you seen Game Night? Because it seems that a lot of people are at the very least cautiously optimistic about it after watching it.

It certainly made me more confident in Goldstein and Daley.

She looks the same as she always has! I think these "workouts" are a publicity stunt!

I still don't think she's a good Wonder Woman. There are a ton of other actors who can do the role complete justice in all honesty, both performamce wise and physically.
