Wonder Woman hit us all right in the feels when it wrapped up with the shocking death of Chris Pine's Steve Trevor but it's since been reported on multiple occasions that the actor will be returning in the upcoming sequel. That doesn't make a whole lot of sense but a new set video has surfaced in which the poster claims to have seen the actor on the Washington D.C. set shooting some scenes.

It's impossible to say whether or not that's actually him in the video below but they seem pretty confident that it is and given how much we've heard about Pine coming back, this definitely adds up.

Steve Trevor would be almost 100 years old by the time the events of the sequel take place so unless he's showing up in flashbacks or has been resurrected somehow, it's hard to say how Diana Prince's love interest will factor into this adventure. Either way, it definitely feels like there's more story to tell between the two so here's hoping more details are revealed in the coming weeks and months.

@KyoShiRo330 - Yeah, what a "surprise". they're having the best actor of the first movie come back for the second. Pine is awesome. He deserves better.

Reboot this Snyder-tainted universe.

@Atomicockroach - why reboot it instead of fixing it. All they need is a good flash and aquaman movie. MOS was good besides a couple of bad decisions and Wonderwoman was on par with Black Panther in quality. MCU will always be on top but what’s wrong with DCEU being great also. If two bad movies (some people’s opinions) ruined a movie universe then MCU would have been done after Ironman 2 and 3 and dark world

@whynot - Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World >>>>> Man of Steel, Wonder Woman.

DC wish they could do a film as good as one of Marvel's worst.

@GwenLantern - Ironman 2 and 3 were awful and this is coming from a guy who loves the character. MCU has a nice streak of good movies sadly the DCEU is hit and miss right now. But if you truly believe Thor 2 was better then MOS and Wonder Woman then that’s just crazy. I’m sure Kevin Feige would even disagree with that

@whynot - I think its too far gone to save, honestly. There's too much bad to fix and not enough good to save.
Its like trying to save a loaf of 3/4 moldy bread. Even if you manage to find a couple of slices in there that are edible, are they really going to taste good? Just get a new loaf of bread so that you can enjoy it. We aren't starving for comic book movies here. As you say, we've got Marvel's movies to keep us satisfied until they bake us up something tasty.
Mostly the only truly great stuff is just us remembering from the comics, the movies have all been pretty bad, with a few great scenes randomly throughout.
I agree that MOS was mostly good, except for mischaracterizing the main character and his dad. And the stupid neck snap. And Snyder's penis rockets. But they didn't evolve from there, they didn't course correct. Then BVS really just ruined everything to a point that its going to take a complete reboot to fix all the problems. But they aren't really trying to fix the problems anyway, they just keep plodding along, ruining more and more characters and storylines as they go. Why wouldn't I want a complete reboot? Why wouldn't I want them to get it right this time? Why would anyone want them to NOT reboot?
"but what's wrong with DCEU being great also" - I couldn't agree more. But that isn't going to happen without a reboot. It isn't going to happen when we have a worn out, lackluster Batman, a twitchy, annoying Flash, an uninspiring, boring Wonder Woman, a pouty, murdering Superman, and on and on.
I know that its subjective, but to me, Wonder Woman was nowhere near on par with Black Panther. BP was hands-down my favorite CBM to date and WW was more on par with Green Lantern or the Ghost Rider movies. (Which I actually liked!) Good, not great, but very disappointing when compared to their comic book selves. Patty did the best she could with a subpar actress, and it turned out a lot better than anyone expected. After BVS and Suicide Squad, desperate fans gave it a lot more credit than it deserved. But still, it was an improvement, and leaps and bounds better than those two movies.
I don't get all the hate for Iron Man 2 and Thor 2. They're both good, solid movies. Not Marvel's best, but then, by definition, they can't all be the very best. To me, they are both far more enjoyable than WW, JL and easily as good as MOS. Yeah they're flawed, but still a lot of great stuff in those movies. Iron Man 3? Sure, now there I totally agree. That movie is so bad that I just try to pretend it never happened.

@whynot - The kinds of bad decisions made with MOS are the kinds that must be erased. The kinds of problems WonderWoman had arent of the universe-killing kind. Her character came out right.

@Atomicockroach - I agree with you on everything but WonderWoman. Movie was great imo. I probably need to see Black Panther again, because the first time I wasn't much impressed.

@Atomicockroach - your opinion on Wonderwoman is very subjective. Most people loved WonderWoman and I compare it to Black Panther both in quality and in impact. Why do you think MCU is finally making female led superhero movies. Like it or not it’s bc on Wonderwomans success. As I said I love the MCU and am a big supporter of DC but I’m mostly a supporter of good movies. Now my opinion might also be subjective but the MCU at the beginning made some poor movies as well as great so if you wanted to talk about “throwing away the entire loaf” over a few moldy pieces then after thor 2 and Ironman 2 they might as well have ended there cinematic universe. Now what your talking about is completely subjective. The only DCEU movie I truly disliked was BVS. MOS was good JL was good WW was Fantastic and suicide squad was passable. Now the MCU has made fantastic movies including Black Panther winter soldier and Iron man just to name a few. Back to my point though. The DCEU is very fixable. All they need is to get a better writing staff and badass directors. Atleast JL was a sign that they are going with a lighter tone

@ImmovableForce - saw black panther twice. Movie was great til the third CGI mess. That’s a big reason I compared it to Wonderwoman I’d honestly rank Wonderwoman better then BP though just barely lol. WW was up there with the original IM for me

Last I heard they were starting in late May so it makes sense. Surprised there wasn't a formal announcement if it has.
