According to Omega Underground, Warner Bros. and director Patty Jenkins are set to begin shooting Wonder Woman 2 this June in the US, in and around the area of Northern Virginia/District of Columbia. Does this location tell us anything about the plot?

Well, it's looking more and more likely that those early rumors about the '80s Cold War setting were on the money, and if the film is indeed going to film in the same area where The White House (Senate/House of Reps) and the C.I.A. headquarters happen to be located, there's a decent chance the US Government will factor into the story in some way.

Diana working with the United States to take down the Soviets, perhaps?

Everything about this movie had put me off of it. I don’t like Cheetah, dont like the setting, don’t like the actress playing Cheetah, didn’t trust WB after Justice League

the cheetah pic is almost too odd ......not sure the direction of the tone for the film cause cheetah isn't humorous at all imo :/

I really hope the rumor that this movie takes place in the past is false and instead is in the present, because I want to see what is happening now instead of what happened in the past. The past is the past, so keep it that way.

@billnye69 - Zack Snyder is still involved in the production team, and he saved the first film from being ruined by studio interference, so this might have a chance.

Really wish this would be modern day now. Loved the setting of the first, but i'd like to see her continue after JL with her new attitude towards saving the world and trust in man again, she is needed again. Especially with the introduction of Cheetah happening.

I won't lie. WB just being WB has reduced the excitement I had for this sequel. As well as the Wiig casting. Hope it's all good though.

@BlindWedjat - Agreed. How long before Patty Jenkins is fired and Alan Taylor is hired to finish the film?

I can't trust this studio to not screw these creators over, again.
