While Wonder Woman was a huge hit and a critical success, the guys at Cinema Sins managed to find plenty of problems with it as they always do.

Check out the video below:

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers...and her true destiny.

This is typical of someone stretching and choosing to ignore storytelling points in an attempt to be relevant bashing a movie that is just about a perfect superhero film. Sad really that someone spent so much time wanking for nothing.

lol Ragnarocknroll thinks Wonder Woman still needs to prove itself. Your opinion is moot. Why don't you go write me a 5000 word essay proving any movie you like isn't trash.

@pclark @Ragnarocknroll - ya'll know that the Wonder Woman story = The Little Mermaid story, just substitute the characters and have more fighting and less singing.

@Griela - Okay then. You tell me 5 things that were great and unique about Wonder Woman that sets it apart from other superhero films.

@Ragnarocknroll - Your needle is stuck in the groove. We don't need to justify the movie. The mere fact that Warners is considering an oscar run for the movie is proof enough it is a great comics movie.

@pclark - Fine, so then it REALLY shouldn't be hard for you to point out 5 tho us that were great and unique about Wonder Woman that sets it apart other superhero films.

(Also, just for the record, studios considering Oscar runs for their films mean Jack shit. Paramount ran an Oscar campaign for Transformers 4 for [frick]s sake)

That was funny and made some good points. Still think WW was a decent movie though. I'm okay with suspension of disbelief when it comes to CBMs and scifi/fantasy.

Guys, if you don't already, check out CinemaWins on YouTube. Same basic structure as CinemaSins, except they point out and elaborate on all the positive aspects of movies. I love the channel and can't recommend it enough

I agree. A lot of the problems are definitely just people exaggerating to say they are problems.

I think my biggest problem with this movie was the last 20 or so minutes. I understand she's a warrior and her whole life is fighting, but I expected a little restraint when it came to taking care of the bad guy after the entire world flipping out over superman snapping zods neck. Everyone is still complaining about snapping zods neck 4 years after man of steel, but the entire motivation for the hero in this movie is to flat-out kill the bad guy. Not stop him, not reform him, but actually KILL him. If superman and batman are held to this high standard of cherishing all life, than i feel that wonder woman should be also.

She actually goes one step further than superman, in that she makes no attempt whatsoever to get the baddie to stop or offer him another path. Superman pleads with Zod to stop, fights him with restraint, pleads again, and only an innocent family is about to be burned alive and after Zod has made it clear that he will never stop, does Superman take Zod's life and then makes it perfectly clear that he didn't want to by falling to his knees and screaming.

Before Wonder Woman even finds who shes supposed to fight she SKEWERS THE WRONG PERSON TO THE ROOF WITH A SWORD. She's so preoccupied with the fact that the war isnt ending she hasnt even realized that she just murdered some random dude who should have stood trial for war crimes. The only time she ever looks back at that guys corpse is when she obviously had to go pry the sword back out of his guts to go after Ares. Didn't even give a crap she killed the wrong man.

Then she wraps things up by finding out Ares is her only brother, doesn't bother to try to redeem him, and just blasts him into a smoldering crater...

"I believe in love." Nice touch WW.

CinemaSins hasn't been funny in years. They stretch and nitpick everything so much its just annoying. Honest Trailers is the way to go.
