It Looks Like The Theatrical Cut Of LOGAN Will Indeed Feature A Post-Credits Scene
Though the version of Logan that screened for critics didn't have an after-credits scene, it's been confirmed that the cut of the film that's set to hit theaters will feature a little something extra...
When Logan screened this past Friday at the Berlin Film Festival (and this morning in Dublin, incidentally), those in attendance were not treated to a post-credits scene - but when the first round of reviews hit, they were accompanied by a rumor that the theatrical cut would include a few extra minutes.
Now, Collider has confirmed that the version of the film general audiences will see on March 3rd will indeed feature a stinger of some description. There are no details on what/who it will involve, but having seen Logan I can tell you that it is somewhat surprising that James Mangold and/or the studio decided to follow what is pretty much a perfect final shot (don't worry, no spoilers) of what is very much a standalone story with some kind of tease or lead-in to another film in the X-Men franchise.
At any rate, whatever the scene entails is going to remain a mystery until Logan is officially released early next month, but feel free to speculate away in the usual place.
